1. A method for authenticating or verifying a user computer in connection with an internet purchasing transaction, comprising:
- selecting by a user a computer device having a global positioning subsystem therein which produces a global positioning location of the computer device;
connecting between the computer device and a bank computer which receives global positioning information from the computer device;
using global positioning information from the computer having a global positioning subsystem as at least one authentication or verification parameter by the bank;
conducting at least one transaction between the computer device and an internet merchant.

Abstract
Methods for purchasing of goods or services over the internet. A customer has a customer account set up at a bank with associated account information. The account information includes verification information for verification parameters, such as authorized computer identification, authorized delivery addresses, authorized global positioning satellite or other secure location information, authorized user identification, authorized telephone caller identification, and/or other account information. An order is placed by a user via an ordering computer which provides order information. Such order information includes verification variables used by the bank. Verification and/or authentication using one or more variables of the customer account information is used by the bank to validate the order before assuring payment to the merchant.

selecting by a user a computer device having a global positioning subsystem therein which produces a global positioning location of the computer device; accessing a merchant internet site to evaluate and select desired goods or services; communicating between the computer device and the merchant internet site a transaction identification during said accessing; communicating with a bank computer which receives global positioning information indicating the computer device location; using global positioning information from the computer having a global positioning subsystem as at least one authentication or verification parameter by the bank; communicating the transaction identification to the bank; conducting at least one transaction between the computer device and an internet merchant; whereby communication is made to the merchant that the bank has authenticated the computer device and assures payment to the merchant. - View Dependent Claims (8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18)

13. A method for purchasing from a computer, comprising:

selecting by a user a computer device having a global positioning subsystem therein which produces changeable global positioning location of the computer device; accessing a merchant internet site using said computer device to select desired goods or services; communicating between the computer device and the merchant internet site a transaction identification during said accessing; communicating to a bank computer which receives global positioning information provided by said computer device; using global positioning information from the computer having a global positioning subsystem as at least one authentication or verification parameter by the bank; communicating the transaction identification to the bank; conducting at least one transaction between the computer device and an internet merchant; communicating to the merchant that assures payment to the merchant.
