Abstract

An energy conversion and storage system uses pre-charge-enabled energy-converting variable capacitors that can be buried in asphalt roads and streets. Radiant solar energy does work on temperature-sensitive capacitors. It modifies the capacitance of the previously cold and pre-charged capacitor, thereby converting solar energy into increased electrical energy available for practical commercial or residential use.

Claims

1. An energy system comprising an energy absorbing surface, a pre-charge enabled energy converting variable capacitor that utilizes a low-loss pre-charging circuit, an energy conversion cycle and a capacitance-controlling parameter.

2. An energy system as claimed in claim 1,

wherein the capacitance-controlling parameter is the temperature of said variable capacitor;

and said energy system includes a heat storing volume.

3. An energy system as claimed in claim 2,

wherein at least one heat conveying device conveys heat between said energy absorbing surface, said heat storing volume, said variable capacitor and an energy emitting surface.

4. An energy system as claimed in claim 3 wherein a plurality of said variable capacitors are each inside their respective dynamic capacitor cores, which, in turn, are each enclosed in their respective core enclosures, which are each encapsulated in an encapsulant such as asphalt.

5. An energy system as claimed in claim 4, wherein a change in said temperature can alter effective dielectric permittivity of said variable capacitors thereby changing capacitance of said variable capacitor.

6. An energy system as claimed in claim 5, wherein said variable capacitor dielectrics are a temperature sensitive perovskite or the like.

7. An energy system as claimed in claim 6, wherein said variable capacitor dielectrics are a temperature sensitive nanotechnology-engineered material.

8. An energy system as claimed in claim 7, wherein said nanotechnology-engineered material includes a plurality muscle-like carbon nanotube electrode systems.

9. An energy system as claimed in claim 4, wherein a change in said temperature can alter effective charged particle separation of said variable capacitors thereby changing capacitance of said variable capacitors.

10. An energy system as claimed in claim 4, wherein the said energy conversion cycle is synchronized with an energy modulator.

11. An energy system as claimed in claim 4,

wherein an explosion-damage limiting volume is included.

wherein peripheral electronics includes electrical fault isolation.

13. An energy system as claimed in claim 1,

wherein the capacitance-controlling parameter is a directed force on said variable capacitor.

14. An energy system as claimed in claim 13,

wherein the directed force results from

physical movement of massive natural bodies.

15. An energy system as claimed in claim 14,

wherein said massive natural bodies transfer

said directed force to said variable capacitor through variable levels of tension in cables or compression.

16. An energy system as claimed in claim 4 wherein a Dual nested enclosures that provide a removable inner enclosure and a permanently embedded outer enclosure.

17. An energy system as claimed in claim 4 wherein a plurality capacitance-controlling curves are selectively activated in order to optimize energy yield fraction for current dynamic capacitor core temperatures.

18. An energy system as claimed in claim 4 wherein a temporary energy store is used to temporarily store electricity for later use.

19. A method of installing inter-core wiring in asphalt with only minimal surface disruption of said asphalt;

wherein a hole is drilled, at a small angle like 25°

to an asphalt surface, through a small opening in the asphalt surface. Another somewhat distant opening in the asphalt surface is where another hole can be more-vertically-drilled in order to intersect the first hole, thereby leaving a hollow conduit for associated inter-core wiring, but with only minimal asphalt disruption.

20. A method of installing inter-core wiring along with electrical connectors intended for dynamic capacitor cores wherein said inter-core wiring and said electrical connectors are interconnected in a fabric-like structure that can be efficiently installed from large truck-mounted reels of said fabric-like structure.
