Abstract

Certain embodiments disclosed herein relate to compositions, methods, devices, systems, and products regarding frozen particles. In certain embodiments, the frozen particles include materials at low temperatures. In certain embodiments, the frozen particles provide vehicles for delivery of particular agents. In certain embodiments, the frozen particles are administered to at least one biological tissue.

Claims

1. A frozen particle composition, comprising:

a frozen particle defining at least one cavity;

the at least one cavity containing at least one agent; and

wherein the frozen particle includes at least one component that is in a gaseous state at or above approximately 0.25 bar, approximately 0.5 bar, approximately 1.0 bar, approximately 5.0 bar, approximately 10.0 bar, approximately 25 bar, approximately 50 bar, approximately 100 bar, approximately 200 bar, or approximately 500 bar pressure; and

at or above approximately 10°

C., approximately 15°

2. The frozen particle composition of claim 1, wherein the at least one component includes at least one of nitrogen, helium, neon, xenon, krypton, chlorine, bromine, carbon dioxide, air, oxygen, or argon.

3. The frozen particle composition of claim 1, wherein at least one cavity is configured to physically or chemically separate the at least one agent from at least one other cavity of the frozen particle.

4. The frozen particle composition of claim 1, wherein at least one cavity is configured to physically or chemically separate from at least one other cavity of the frozen particle during administration.

10. The frozen particle composition of claim 1, wherein the at least one cavity is an inner core cavity of at least one frozen particle.

11. The frozen particle composition of claim 1, wherein the at least one cavity includes an inner core cavity and wherein the at least one agent is at least one of a liquid or gas.

13. The frozen particle composition of claim 1, wherein the at least one cavity has a higher concentration of the at least one agent than any other cavity.

23. The frozen particle composition of claim 1, wherein the at least one agent includes one or more of a pro-drug or precursor compound.

24. The frozen particle composition of claim 1, wherein the at least one agent includes one or more time-release or extended-release formulations.

39. The frozen particle composition of claim 1, wherein the at least one agent includes one or more of an adhesive agent, reinforcement agent, abrasive, therapeutic agent, biological remodeling agent, or explosive material.

40. The frozen particle composition of claim 1, further comprising a plurality of frozen particles that are approximately uniform in size, shape, weight, or density.

43. The frozen particle composition of claim 1, further comprising at least one of a nanoparticle, detection material, sensor, micro-syringe, or circuit.

46. The frozen particle composition of claim 43, wherein the detection material is located in at least one cavity of at least one frozen particle composition.

47. The frozen particle composition of claim 43, wherein the detection material includes at least one electronic identification device.

48. The frozen particle composition of claim 47, wherein the at least one electronic identification device includes at least one radio frequency identification device.

49. The frozen particle composition of claim 43, wherein the detection material includes at least one radioactive element.

51. The frozen particle composition of claim 43, wherein the detection material includes at least one luminescent, colorimetric or odorous substance.

52. The frozen particle composition of claim 43, wherein the at least one colorimetric substance includes one or more of an inorganic, organic, biological, natural, artificial, or synthetic substance.

53. The frozen particle composition of claim 43, wherein the at least one detection material includes one or more of a dye, pigment, luminescent substance, fluorescent substance, or phosphorescent substance.

54. The frozen particle composition of claim 43, wherein the detection material includes at least one of a diamagnetic particle, ferromagnetic particle, paramagnetic particle, super paramagnetic contrast agent, or other magnetic particle.

59. The frozen particle composition of claim 1, formulated to be administered to at least one substrate.

60. The frozen particle composition of claim 59, wherein the at least one substrate includes one or more of a cell, tissue, organ, structure, or device.

61. The frozen particle composition of claim 1, further comprising one or more agents located outside of the at least one cavity.

69. The method of claim 62, further comprising varying the rate, velocity, or angle at which the at least one frozen particle composition is administered to the at least one biological tissue.

75. The method of claim 62, wherein the at least one biological tissue is located in at least one of in situ, in vitro, in vivo, in utero, in planta, in silico, or ex vivo.

86. The method of claim 62, further comprising administering to the at least one biological tissue at least one of a nanoparticle, detection material, sensor, circuit, or micro-syringe.

content of the at least one cavity, amount of cavity space occupied, or amount of cavity space available.

148. The frozen particle composition of claim 146, wherein the at least one status indicator includes at least one of a sensor, a magnet, a colorimetric substance, or a physical measuring device.

158. The frozen particle composition of claim 143, wherein the at least one cavity is located at an inner core region of the frozen particle.

159. The frozen particle composition of claim 143, wherein the at least one cavity is located at a superficial or exterior region of the frozen particle.

170. The frozen particle composition of claim 143, further comprising at least one of a nanoparticle, detection material, sensor, micro-syringe, or circuit.
