THROTTLE CONTROL INTEGRATING AN ANGULAR POSITION SENSOR
First Claim
1. A throttle control (1) integrating an angular position sensor (16);
- the throttle control (1) comprises;
a twist grip (11), which has a tubular shape and is centrally perforated to be fitted about a tubular handlebar (2) so as to rotate with respect to the tubular handlebar (2); and
an angular position sensor (16), which is adapted to read the angular position of the twist grip (11);
the throttle control (1) is characterized in that the angular position sensor (16) comprises;
at least one rotor (17), which is supported by the twist grip (11) to rotate along with the twist grip (11) and is adapted to affect an electric and/or magnetic field; and
at least one reader (18), which is adapted to be mounted in a fixed position inside the tubular handlebar (2) so as to be arranged close to the rotor (17), and is adapted to remotely and contactlessly read the orientation of the rotor (17).
