Abstract
A method for modifying a synchronous non-adaptive retransmission scheme to solve the limitation of the synchronous non-adaptive retransmission scheme is disclosed. A method for indicating not only the new data transmission but also the retransmission using a data scheduling message is disclosed. A method for determining whether there is an error in the ACK signal transmitted from a data reception end using another message to-be received later is disclosed. The retransmission method for a multi-carrier system includes: receiving a grant message including scheduling information for transmitting uplink data wherein a retransmission scheme for the uplink data is predetermined by a first retransmission scheduling, transmitting the uplink data according to the scheduling information and retransmitting the uplink data according to second retransmission scheduling by receiving the second retransmission scheduling information associated with the uplink data with retransmission request.

17. A method of data retransmission in a multi carrier system, the method comprising:

receiving a first grant message including first resource allocation information for an uplink data transmission and a first new data indicator (NDI) indicating whether a new data is transmitted or the uplink data is retransmitted; transmitting the uplink data using the first resource allocation information; receiving an acknowledgement message for the uplink data; and maintaining the uplink data in a buffer until a predetermined condition is satisfied even though the acknowledgment message is a positive acknowledgement signal (ACK). - View Dependent Claims (18, 19, 20, 21)

22. An User Equipment (UE) performing a method of data retransmission in a multi carrier system, the UE comprises:

a transmission module controlling an uplink data transmission; a receiving module controlling a message and a signal used at the data retransmission method; and a processor controlling the transmission module and the receiving module to perform the method for the data retransmission, wherein the processor performs the steps of; receiving a first grant message including first resource allocation information for an uplink data transmission and a first new data indicator (NDI) indicating whether a new data is transmitted or the uplink data is retransmitted; transmitting the uplink data using the first resource allocation information; receiving an acknowledgement message for the uplink data; and maintaining the uplink data in a buffer until a predetermined condition is satisfied even though the acknowledgment message is a positive acknowledgement signal (ACK), using the transmission module and the receiving module. - View Dependent Claims (23, 24, 25, 26)
