Abstract

A method of receiving a broadcast signal including a Non-Real-Time (NRT) service and a broadcast receiver are disclosed herein. A method of receiving a broadcast signal including a Non-Real-Time (NRT) service, the method comprises receiving a broadcast signal including an NRT content and NRT service guide information, the NRT service guide information including a content fragment, identifying a File Delivery over Unidirectional Transport (FLUTE) session delivering the NRT content from the broadcast signal, detecting a first content identification information from a File Description Table (FDT) of the FLUTE session, and detecting a second content identification information of the content fragment matched with the first content identification information.

Claims

1. A method of receiving a broadcast signal including a Non-Real-Time (NRT) service, the method comprising:

receiving a broadcast signal including an NRT content and NRT service guide information, the NRT service guide information including a content fragment;

identifying a File Delivery over Unidirectional Transport (FLUTE) session delivering the NRT content from the broadcast signal;

detecting a first content identification information of the NRT content from a File Description Table (FDT) of the FLUTE session; and

detecting a second content identification information of the content fragment matched with the first content identification information.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the FLUTE session delivering the NRT content from the broadcast signal is indicated in an NRT signaling information table of the broadcast signal.

3. The method of claim 2, wherein the NRT signaling information table is a Service Map Table (SMT).

4. The method of claim 1, wherein the first content identification information and the second content identification information are both a binary type or a Universal Resource Identifier (URI) type.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein the NRT content and the NRT service guide information are received in a plurality of a packetized Reed-Solomon (RS) frame.

6. The method of claim 5, wherein the plurality of RS frame are formed in an ensemble.

7. The method of claim 1, wherein files configuring a content item are identified using a Transport Object Identifier (TOI) and Content_Location field defined in the FDT within the FLUTE session.

8. The method of claim 1, wherein the first content identification information is identified in an instance level or a file level within the FDT.

9. The method of claim 1, wherein the NRT content is received or the pre-stored NRT content is displayed when an end-user selects the NRT content based on the service guide information.

10. The method of claim 9, wherein the second content identification information within the service guide information and the first content identification information within the FDT are linked to each other for processing.

11. A broadcast receiver for receiving a broadcast signal including a Non-Real-Time (NRT) service, comprising:

a receiving unit for receiving a broadcast signal including an NRT content and NRT service guide information;

a first handler for identifying a File Delivery over Unidirectional Transport (FLUTE) session delivering the NRT content from the broadcast signal and detecting a first content identification information from a File Description Table (FDT) of the FLUTE session;

a processor for obtaining a content fragment of the NRT service guide information; and

a second handler for detecting a second content identification information of the content fragment matched with the first content identification information.

12. A broadcast receiver of claim 11, wherein the FLUTE session delivering the NRT content from the broadcast signal is indicated in an NRT signaling information table of the broadcast signal.

13. A broadcast receiver of claim 12, wherein the NRT signaling information table is a Service Map Table (SMT).

14. A broadcast receiver of claim 11, wherein the first content identification information and the second content identification information are both a binary type or a Universal Resource Identifier (URI) type.

15. A broadcast receiver of claim 11, wherein the NRT content and the NRT service guide information are received in a plurality of a packetized Reed-Solomon (RS) frame.

16. A broadcast receiver of claim 15, wherein the plurality of RS frame are formed in an ensemble.

17. A broadcast receiver of claim 11, wherein the first handler identifies files configuring a content item are identified using a Transport Object Identifier (TOI) and Content_Location_field defined in the FDT within the FLUTE session.

18. A broadcast receiver of claim 11, wherein the first handler identifies the first content identification information in an instance level or a file level within the FDT.

19. A broadcast receiver of claim 11, wherein the processor receives the NRT content or displays the pre-stored NRT content when an end-user selects the NRT content based on the service guide information.

20. A broadcast receiver of claim 19, wherein the second content identification information within the service guide information and the first content identification information within the FDT are linked to each other for processing.
