1. A delivery device for delivering an intraluminal device, comprising:

  • a gear and pulley mechanism comprising a first gear set and a second gear set;

    a drive pulley adapted to be alternatively mechanically coupled to the first gear set and the second gear set; and

    a reinforced outer sheath disposed over an inner elongate member, the reinforced outer sheath comprising a proximal section reinforced with a braid, a distal section reinforced with a coil and an overlapping section extending between the proximal section and the distal section, the overlapping section comprising a proximal portion of the coil affixed to a distal portion of the braid, the reinforced outer sheath being in mechanical communication with the drive pulley so as to retract in a proximal direction and resheath in a distal direction.
