Abstract

In one embodiment of the invention, the access control system comprises a door with an integrated mechatronic closing mechanism which is equipped with a receiver device. The receiver device is designed to receive and evaluate capacitive-resistive signals that are emitted by a transmitter and are transmitted via a user'"'"'s body. The closing mechanism opens or does open the door in accordance with a result of said evaluation. In said one embodiment of the invention, the closing mechanism is battery-operated and has no permanent electric connection to an object that is not located on or in the door.

Claims

1. A system for controlling access to a building and/or to a building part, comprising:

a mechatronic locking device with a receiver, which is equipped to receive and evaluate a capacitive-resistive signal emitted by a transmitter and transmitted via a body of a user,

wherein the locking device releases the door or not, depending on a result of this evaluation, and

wherein the locking device is battery-operated and the system is free of a fixed electrical connection to an object not located on or in the door.

The system according to claim 1, wherein the locking device comprises an actuation element, and a latch bolt, the latch bolt being operatively connected to the actuation element so that the latch bolt can be actuated by the actuation element, and wherein, when the door is not released, either the latch bolt blocks, or the actuation element is decoupled from the latch bolt.

3. The system according to claim 1, wherein the locking device comprises a bar element, and wherein the bar element blocks the doors against a door frame when the door is not released.

4. The system according to claim 1, wherein the locking device additionally comprises a mechanical or mechatronic locking cylinder functioning independently of the receipt of the capacitive-resistive signals.

5. The system according to claim 1, wherein the door comprises a metallic fitting.

6. The system according to claim 5, wherein the metallic fitting is electrically contacted to serve as a receiver electrode of the receiver.

7. The system according to claim 6, wherein the fitting comprises a surface which is free of non-metallic surface sections.

8. The system according to claim 1, wherein the locking device is externally dimensioned such that it may be assembled as a locking cylinder into a standardised locking cylinder opening of a door.

22. The system according to claim 1, further comprising a transmitter for the capacitive-resistive signal, an electrode of the transmitter being installed in a fixed manner on the door or in a vicinity of the door.

The system according to claim 22, further comprising a reader for reading out or recognising an identification signal and/or identification feature and/or identification code, said reader being in communicating connection with the transmitter, the transmitter being capable of emitting the capacitive-resistive signal in dependence on whether the identification signal or the identification feature is recognized.

24. The system according to claim 23, wherein the reader and the transmitter are integrated together into an apparatus with an apparatus housing.

25. The system according to claim 23 wherein the reader comprises means for reading out a chip card with contacts or which is contactless.

26. The system according to claim 23, wherein the reader comprises means for recognising biometric identification features.

27. The system according to claim 23, wherein the reader comprises means for comparison of an identification code inputted by the user, to stored data.

9. A mechatronic locking device, comprising:

a receiver, the receiver being equipped to receive and evaluate a capacitive-resistive signal emitted by a transmitter and transmitted via a body of a user,

wherein the locking device releases or does not release the door depending on a result of this evaluation,

the locking device further comprising an integrated energy supply, which is sufficient for supplying all components of the locking device with energy.

10. A system for controlling access to an object with a door, the system comprising:

a mechatronic locking device for blocking or releasing the door, wherein the locking device comprises a receiver being equipped to receive and evaluate a capacitive-resistive signal emitted by a transmitter and transmitted via a body of a user, and

wherein the locking device releases the door or not, depending on a result of this evaluation,

the system further comprising a transmitter for the capacitive-resistive signal, an electrode of the transmitter being installed in a fixed manner on the door or in a vicinity of the door.

The system according to claim 10, further comprising a reader for reading out or recognising an identification signal and/or identification feature and/or identification code, said reader being in communicating connection with the transmitter, the transmitter being capable of emitting the capacitive-resistive signal in dependence on whether the identification signal or the identification feature is recognized.

12. The system according to claim 11, wherein the reader and the transmitter are integrated together into an apparatus with an apparatus housing.

13. The system according to claim 11 wherein the reader comprises means for reading out a chip card which contacts or which is contactless.

14. The system according to claim 11 wherein the reader comprises means for recognising biometric identification features.

15. The system according to claim 11, wherein the reader comprises means for comparison of an identification code inputted by the user, to stored data.

16. A system for controlling access to a building with outer doors and inner doors, the system comprising:

at least one first locking device and a plurality of second locking devices,

wherein the first locking device or at least one of the first locking devices is arranged for locking and unlocking an outer door, and the second locking devices are arranged for locking and unlocking inner doors,

wherein the at least one locking device comprises first means for receiving information from the user and the second locking devices comprise second means for receiving information by the user,

wherein the second means comprises a receiver of capacitive-resistive signals transmitted by the body of the user, and

wherein the first means are different from the second means.

17. The system according to claim 16, wherein the building is a semi-public building.

18. The system according to claim 16, further comprising first unlocking means for actuating the first locking devices, and second locking means which are separate therefrom, for actuating the second locking devices.

19. The system according to claim 16, wherein the first locking devices are free of a receiver for capacitive-resistive signals transmitted by the body, and are not in communicating connection with a receiver for capacitive-resistive signals.

28. The system according to claim 16, wherein at least one of the second locking devices is battery-operated and free of a fixed electrical connection to an object not located on or in the door.

20. A system for controlling access to an object with a door, the system comprising:

a mechatronic locking device for blocking or releasing the door,

wherein the locking device comprises a receiver, which is equipped to receive and evaluate a capacitive-resistive signal emitted by a transmitter and transmitted via the body of a user,

wherein the locking device releases the door or not depending on a result of this evaluation,

wherein the locking device comprises an outer receiver electrode and an inner receiver electrode not electrically connected in parallel to this,

wherein the outer receiver electrode, if the door is closed, is accessible from outside the object and the inner receiver electrode from within the object, and

wherein the locking device goes into a first unlocking condition when a matching capacitive-resistive signal is received by the outer electrode, and goes into a second unlocking condition which is different therefrom, when a matching capacitive-resistive signal is received via the inner electrode.

21. The system according to claim 20, wherein the door in the second unlocking condition is permanently open.

29. The system according to claim 20, being battery-operated and free of a fixed electrical connection to an object not located on or in the door.
