1. A monitor comprising:
- a housing;
a flat panel display disposed within the housing for displaying a video signal provided from an external computer through a video input socket of the monitor;
a printer disposed within the housing and behind said flat panel display as viewed by the user, the printer including a pagewidth printhead for printing onto print media print data provided from the external computer through a serial data connection of the monitor; and
a sheet feeder disposed within the housing for feeding a sheet of print media from a stack of print media past the pagewidth printhead, the stack of print media being located behind said flat panel display such that, immediately prior to commencement of printing, at least an edge of the print media is visible above an upper edge of the flat panel display.

Abstract
A monitor having a flat panel display, a printer and a sheet feeder disposed within a housing is disclosed. The flat panel display displays a video signal provided from an external computer through a video input socket of the monitor. The printer is disposed behind the flat panel display as viewed by the user. The printer includes a pagewidth printhead which prints onto print media print data provided from the external computer through a serial data connection of the monitor. The sheet feeder feeds a sheet of print media from a stack of print media past the pagewidth printhead. The stack of print media is located behind the flat panel display such that, immediately prior to commencement of printing, at least an edge of the print media is visible above an upper edge of the flat panel display.
