1. A method for preventing inference of at least one unique identifier associated with a subscriber in a communication network, the method comprising:
- providing targeting criteria from an advertising server to a matching database;
providing the at least one unique identifier from a subscriber database to the match database;
identifying at least one subscriber intersection at the match database, the subscriber intersection related to the at least one unique identifier and the targeting criteria; and
selectively removing the at least one unique identifier associated with the at least one subscriber intersection from the match database;
wherein the at least one unique identifier is no longer accessible by the advertising server from the match database.
