1. A glass panel assembly, comprising:
- a first glass sheet having an electro-conductive film provided thereon;
a conductor having a thickness of at least about 0.15 mm positioned on the electro-conductive film;
an electrically conductive adhesive positioned between said conductor and the electro-conductive film on said first glass sheet; and
a retainer, said retainer engaging an edge portion of said first glass sheet and engaging said conductor, said retainer applying a compressive pressure to said conductor, said compressive pressure enhancing electrical contact between said conductor and the electro-conductive film provided on said first glass sheet.

Abstract
A glass panel assembly includes a glass sheet having an electro-conductive film provided thereon. A conductor having a thickness of at least about 0.15 mm is positioned on the electro-conductive film. An electrically conductive adhesive is provided between the conductor and the electro-conductive film. A retainer engages an edge portion of the glass sheet and the conductor. The retainer applies a compressive pressure to the conductor, the compressive pressure enhancing electrical contact between the conductor and the electro-conductive film.

a substrate having an electro-conductive film provided on at least one side of said substrate; a first bus bar having a thickness of at least 0.15 mm positioned on the electro-conductive film provided on said substrate; an electrically conductive adhesive interposed between said first bus bar and the electro-conductive film provided on said substrate, said electrically conductive adhesive contacting both said first bus bar and the electro-conductive film so that said first bus bar is in substantially continuous electrical contact with the electro-conductive film provided on said substrate; a second bus bar having a thickness of at least 0.15 mm positioned on said electro-conductive film in spaced-apart relation to said first bus bar; and an electrically conductive adhesive interposed between said second bus bar and the electro-conductive film provided on said substrate, said electrically conductive adhesive contacting both said second bus bar and the electro-conductive film so that said second bus bar is in substantially continuous electrical contact with the electro-conductive film provided on said substrate. - View Dependent Claims (10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20)
