Abstract

A system. The system includes a computing device configured for communication with a plurality of multiple resolution cameras and with a display device. The computing device includes a composite image module. The composite image module is configured for receiving composite information from at least one of the multiple resolution cameras, and for generating a composite image based on the composite information.

Claims

1. A system, comprising:

a computing device configured for communication with a plurality of multiple resolution cameras and with a display device, wherein the computing device comprises;

a composite image module configured for;

receiving composite information from at least one of the multiple resolution cameras; and

generating a composite image based on the composite information.

2. The system of claim 1, wherein the composite information comprises:

information which defines a location of an object of interest within a first image, wherein the first image comprises;

a first portion at a first resolution, wherein the first portion corresponds to the object of interest; and

a second portion at the first resolution;

a second image at the first resolution, wherein the second image is associated with the first portion of the first image; and

a third image at a second resolution, wherein the third image is associated with the second portion of the first image, and wherein the first resolution is different than the second resolution.

3. The system of claim 2, wherein the object of interest is a face.

4. The system of claim 1, wherein the composite image comprises:

a first portion at a first resolution, wherein the first portion defines an object of interest; and

a second portion at a second resolution, wherein the first resolution is different than the second resolution.

5. The system of claim 1, wherein the computing device further comprises a camera resolution module configured for instructing the at least one of the multiple resolution cameras to operate at:

a first resolution for a first period of time; and

a second resolution for a second period of time.

6. The system of claim 1, wherein the computing device further comprises an eye tracking module configured for associating a first position of a person'"'"'s eye with a first location on the display device.

7. The system of claim 1, wherein the computing device further comprises an eye tracking module configured for associating a first position of a person'"'"'s eye with a first image on the display device.

8. The system of claim 1, wherein the computing device further comprises an eye tracking module configured for associating a first position of a person'"'"'s eye with a first one of the multiple resolution cameras.

9. The system of claim 1, wherein the computing device further comprises an eye tracking module configured for associating a first location on the display device with a first image on the display device.

10. The system of claim 1, wherein the computing device further comprises an eye tracking module configured for associating a first location on the display device with a first one of the multiple resolution cameras.

11. The system of claim 1, wherein the computing device further comprises an eye tracking module configured for associating a first image on the display device with a first one of the multiple resolution cameras.

12. The system of claim 1, wherein the computing device further comprises a display module configured for sending the composite image to the display device.

13. The system of claim 12, wherein the display module is further configured for sending additional images to the display device, wherein the additional images comprise:

a first image at a first resolution; and

a second image at a second resolution, wherein the first resolution is different than the second resolution.

14. A method, implemented at least in part by a computing device, the method comprising:

receiving composite information from a multiple resolution camera; and

generating a composite image based on the composite information.

15. The method of claim 14, wherein receiving the composite information comprises receiving:

information which defines a location of an object of interest within a first image;

a second image at a first resolution, wherein the second image is associated with a first portion of the first image; and

a third image at a second resolution, wherein the third image is associated with a second portion of the first image, and wherein the first resolution is different than the second resolution.

16. The method of claim 15, wherein generating the composite image comprises superimposing the second image on the third image based on the defined location information.

17. The method of claim 15, wherein generating the composite image comprises;

deleting a portion of the third image; and

filling the deleted portion with the second image.

18. The method of claim 15, wherein generating the composite image comprises:

deleting a portion of the third image; and

combining a remaining portion of the third image with the second image.

19. The method of claim 14, further comprising sending the composite image.

20. The method of claim 14, further comprising receiving additional images from other multiple resolution cameras.
