Abstract

A method for manufacturing hairlines in an apparatus case frame is provided. The method includes forming the case frame having primary hairlines being expressed throughout a relevant mold, coating the primary hairlines with a predetermined paint material, coating the primary hairlines to form a coated surface and scratching the coated surface to form secondary hairlines, the scratching being one of at regular and irregular lines.

Claims

1. A method for manufacturing hairlines in apparatus case frames, the method comprising:

forming a mold having first hairlines;

coating the first hairlines with a paint material; and

expressing second hairlines within the paint material of the first hairlines.

2. The method of claim 1, further comprising scratching one of regularly and irregularly the second hairlines to express third hairlines.

3. The method of claim 1, wherein the mold comprises:

a cavity mold having irregularities for expressing the first hairlines in the apparatus case frame to be extruded, and

a core mold for determining a volume of the apparatus when coupling with the cavity mold.

4. The method of claim 1, wherein the forming the apparatus case frame having the first hairlines uses one of a casting, a die casting, an impression, an extruding, a rolling, a forging, a sheet working, a form rolling and an injection molding.

5. The method of claim 3, wherein the irregularities of the cavity mold have a depth less than 50 μ

m (microns).

6. The method of claim 3, wherein the paint material is coated on the first hairlines to a uniform thickness less than 10 μ

m (microns).

7. The method of claim 2, wherein the scratching the second hairlines to express the thirds hairline cuts the second hairlines to a depth of 5-15 μ

m (microns).

8. The method of claim 2, wherein the scratching the second hairlines to express the third hairlines uses one of a scratch roller having fine protrusions on a circular surface, and a brush containing metal powder.

10. The method of claim 8, wherein the relevant mold comprises:

a cavity mold having irregularities for expressing the primary hairlines in the terminal to be extruded; and

a core mold determining a volume of the terminal when coupled with the cavity mold.

16. The method of claim 3, further polishing the irregularities within the mold.

9. A method for processing a case frame defining an outer surface of a terminal, the method comprising:

forming the case frame having primary hairlines as expressed throughout a relevant mold;

coating the primary hairlines with a predetermined paint material to form a coated surface; and

forming secondary hairlines by scratching the coated surface, wherein the scratching includes one of;

regular and irregular line depths.

11. The method of claim 9, wherein forming the primary hairline uses one of a casting, a die casting, an impression, an extruding, a rolling, a forging, a sheet working, a form rolling and an injection molding.

12. The method of claim 9, wherein the primary hairlines comprise irregularities of a depth less than 50 μ

m (microns).

13. The method of claim 9, wherein the paint material is coated on the primary hairlines to a uniform thickness less than 10 μ

m (microns).

14. The method of claim 9, wherein the irregularities of the secondary hairlines comprise irregularities of depths of 5-15 μ

m (microns).

15. The method of claim 9, wherein forming secondary hairlines comprises one of:

a scratch roller having fine protrusions on a circular surface, and a brush containing metal powder.

17. The method of claim 9, wherein the scratching of the secondary hairlines is within the paint of corresponding first hairlines.
