- An absorbent article, such as a diaper, sanitary napkin, incontinence guard or panty liner, said article comprising a fluid-permeable nonwoven topsheet located on the wearer-facing side thereof, said nonwoven topsheet comprising a plurality of channels arranged side-by-side,wherein the channels are located within the nonwoven topsheet and at least one end of at least one channel extends to an edge of the article, whereby gas is allowed to pass into, out of and along the channels, thus providing ventilation of the absorbent article.
