20. A method of securing an implantable medical device into a body comprising:

providing an implantable medical device and a suture ring, the implantable medical device including a plurality of attachment points that corresponding to and will matingly engage to connectors on the suture ring; creating a pocket in a body; securing the suture ring into the pocket by suturing it into a desired position; and securing the implantable medical device into the pocket in a desired position by attaching the medical device to the suture ring through engagement of the corresponding attachment points and connectors.
