Abstract

The present invention relates to a pop-up book for playing that allows various types of three-dimensional play, such as orally narrated fairy tales and dramas, by providing a three-dimensional stage standing and fixed when the pop-up book for juvenile play is opened, and can be easily kept by minimizing the thickness when it is closed. Accordingly, the pop-up book for playing of the invention, which has a front cover and a back cover pivoting around a pivot edge, and is closed in a plane when the front cover and the back cover are folded and provides a three-dimensional shape protruding in a space between the front cover and back cover when the front cover and the back cover are unfolded, includes a first stage that is unfolded to protrude from the back cover and a fixing means that fixes the first stage, the front cover, and the back cover to the unfolded positions.

Claims

1. A pop-up book for playing, which has a front cover and a back cover pivoting around a pivot edge, and is closed in a plane when the front cover and the back cover are folded and provides a three-dimensional shape protruding in a space between the front cover and back cover when the front cover and the back cover are unfolded, the pop-up book for playing comprising:

a first stage that is unfolded to protrude from the back cover; and

a fixing means that fixes the first stage, the front cover, and the back cover to the unfolded positions, wherein the fixing means includes;

a stage front-plate of which the upper end is connected to the front of the first stage and the lower end is fixed to the back cover;

stage side-plates that pivot up/down at the sides of the first stage and of which the lower ends are fixed to the back cover; and

stage support parts of which sides are connected to the upper inner surface of the stage side-plate, the upper surfaces are fixed in contact to the lower surface of the first stage plate, which is the upper surface of the first stage, and the other sides extend to be fixed to a first stage bottom.

2. The pop-up book for playing according to claim 1, wherein a magnet is disposed on the upper surfaces of the stage support parts and fixedly attached to a steel plate attached to the lower surface of the first stage.

3. The pop-up book for playing according to claim 2, wherein the stage front-plate and the stage side-plates protrude higher than the first stage plate to be used as grips when pivoting the stage side-plates by forming fences along the edge of the first stage plate.

The pop-up book for playing according to claim 2, wherein elastic members of which ends are fixed to the lower inner surface of the stage front-plate at a predetermined distance upward from the back cover and the other ends are free ends under stage support parts, to lift the stage support parts upward from the back cover to a predetermined distance while the front cover is unfolded.

5. The pop-up book for playing according to claim 1, further comprising:

a second stage that is disposed between the first stage and the front cover;

a scenery front-plate that is vertically disposed at the joint of the first stage and the second stage, and of which the lower end is connected to the back cover and the upper end is connected to a top cover disposed at a predetermined distance downward from the upper end of the front cover; and

a fixed scenery plate that is attached to the inner surface of the front cover, under the top cover.

The pop-up book for playing according to claim 5, wherein a fixed portion that is fixed to the back cover is formed only at the portion contacting with the first stage plate and non-fixed portions that are not fixed to the back cover are formed at both outer sides from the fixed portion, at the lower end of the scenery frontplate, and cutting lines formed by cutting a stage-sided attachment surface upward from the back cover in a predetermined length and cut portions formed by cutting off the back cover attachment surface rearward from the non-fixed portions in a predetermined width are provided at the joints of the fixed portion and the non-fixed portions, in order to prevent the front cover from being open when the front cover is folded.

7. The pop-up book for playing according to claim 5, wherein the rear ends of the stage side-plates are formed to further protrude backward more than the rear end of the first state plate to define a predetermined gap between first stage bottom and the scenery front-plate.

8. The pop-up book for playing according to claim 5, wherein an elastic holder is attached to the lower surface of the top cover to press a changeable scenery plate attached to the fixed scenery plate against the fixed scenery plate.

9. The pop-up book for playing according to claim 5, wherein the height of the front cover disposed above the top cover is 1 to 2 cm larger than the length of the top cover in the connection direction of the front cover and the scenery frontplate.
