Abstract
A system and methodology for enabling analysis of enrolled biometric data is presented. A plurality of vectors each having a plurality of score values representative of the relationship between individual ones of the enrolled biometrics with a plurality of biometric representations forming a filter set are described. Judicious use of the vectors enables a filtering of the enrolled biometric data on a dynamic basis.

28. A method of generating a subset of enrolled biometric representations from a master database of enrolled biometric representations, the method comprising the steps of:
-
(a) storing a filter set comprising a plurality of biometric representations, (b) storing a plurality of enrolled biometric representations each having a vector associated thereto, (c) capturing a biometric and generating a representation thereof, (d) matching the representation derived from the captured biometric to biometric representations in the filter set, (e) scoring the matching of step (d), (f) generating a vector comprising the scores of step (e), (g) comparing the vector of step (f) against each vectors of step (b), (h) generating the subset based on the results of the comparison of step (g).

29. A system for generating a subset of enrolled biometric representations from a master database of enrolled biometric representations, the system comprising:
-
a first data structure having a filter set comprising a plurality of biometric representations; a second data structure having a plurality of vectors each being linked to individual ones of the enrolled biometric representations, each of the vectors defining a score comparison between the individual ones of the enrolled biometric representations with each of the biometric representations of the filter set; a matching module for matching a presented biometric representation derived from a captured biometric to biometric representations in the filter set; a scoring module for scoring the matching; a vector generating module for generating a vector comprising the scores; a comparing module for comparing the vector generated by the vector generating module against vectors from the second data structure; and a subset generating module for generating the subset based on the comparison performed by the comparing module.
