Abstract

Provided is an apparatus for generating remote plasma. The apparatus includes an RF antenna disposed in regard to a chamber, a plasma generating unit formed in an uppermost portion of the chamber, wherein a plurality of plasma generation gas introduction pipes are communicated with the plasma generating unit, a first shower head disposed below the plasma generating unit, and having a plurality of first plasma guide holes, a second shower head disposed below the first shower head, and having a plurality of source/purge gas guide holes and a plurality of second plasma guide holes directly connected to the respective first plasma guide holes, and a source/purge gas introduction unit disposed between the first and second shower heads, wherein a plurality of source/purge gas introduction pipes are uniformly communicated with the source/purge gas introduction unit.

Claims

1. A method for encoding or decoding a video signal, the method comprising:

a) separating an video signal into even and odd field components;

b) interpolating each of the even and odd field components in a vertical and/or horizontal direction; and

c) obtaining a reference image by using the interpolated even and odd field components.

2. The method according to claim 1, further comprising:

applying interlayer texture prediction based on the reference image.

3. The method according to claim 1, wherein the method includes separating a pair of vertically adjacent macroblocks including an video signal into an even field component macroblock and an odd field component macroblock.

4. The method according to claim 3, wherein an even field component and an odd field component have been interleaved in each of the pair of macroblocks.

5. The method according to claim 3, wherein the pair of macroblocks includes an even field component macroblock and an odd field component macroblock.

6. The method according to claim 3, wherein the pair of macroblocks is a pair of macroblocks set to an intra mode.

7. The method according to claim 3, wherein a video signal in the pair of macroblocks is decoded image data.

8. The method according to claim 3, wherein the pair of macroblocks is a pair of macroblocks set to an inter mode.

9. The method according to claim 1, wherein the method includes separating a picture including an interlaced video signal into an even field component picture and an odd field component picture.

10. The method according to claim 1, wherein an upper layer of the base layer, to which interlayer prediction is to be applied, is a progressive video signal.

11. The method according to claim 1, wherein an upper layer of the base layer, to which interlayer prediction is to be applied, is an interlaced video signal.

12. The method according to claim 11, wherein the interlaced video signal of the upper layer is image data that has been or that is to be coded into a pair of frame macroblocks.

13. A method for encoding or decoding a video signal, the method comprising

a) separating the progressive video signal into an even line group and an odd line group;

b) interpolating each of the even and odd line groups in a vertical and/or horizontal direction; and

c) obtaining a reference image by using the interpolated even and odd line groups.

14. The method according to claim 13, further comprising:

applying interlayer texture prediction based on the reference image.

15. The method according to claim 13, wherein the method includes separating a pair of vertically adjacent macroblocks including a progressive video signal into a macroblock incorporating even lines of the pair of macroblocks and a macroblock incorporating odd lines of the pair of macroblocks.
