Abstract

A method and apparatus for distributing stereo signal of an audio system integrated with an home automation system. The audio system is further integrated with intercom and video intercom including the controlling of the intercom communications and the home automation appliances via a network and the Internet. The stereo signals are encoded and distributed from a selector/encoder, via distributors or directly to speakers via at least one single twisted pair carrying the encoded signals multiplexed with serial signals and with microphone signals for communicating with the intercom or with e-station via the network or the Internet. The multiplexed signals are propagated via the same twisted pair that also feeds a constant current to the system devices or providing power via separated twisted pair. The speakers include wired or wireless remote control receivers and transmitters for propagating remote control signals. The system is flexible and can be connected in many configurations using fitted network cables and connectors.

Claims

1. A method for combining a selector/encoder, an A speaker and a B speaker into a sound distribution system of an home automation by propagating an encoded stereo signal via a cable of a cascading network interconnections selected from a group comprising at least one twisted pair, a network cable, at least one fitted network cable and combinations thereof, wherein at least one segment of said cascading network is intersected by a wall socket selected from a group comprising a connector, a pigtail, a fitted pigtail, a junction box, a junction board, a junction strip, a terminal block and combinations thereof, said method comprising the steps of;

a. interconnecting said one twisted pair of the first said segment between said selector/encoder and a decoding unit associated said A speaker for feeding said encoded stereo signal to a decoder, a stereo amplifier and a central processor included in said decoding unit for decoding and outputting amplified stereo signals to said A speaker and B speaker and for propagating two way serial signals between said selector/encoder and said decoding unit via at least one of a third twisted pair and multiplexed via said one twisted pair.

b. connecting a power supply to said selector/encoder for powering said sound distribution system, including the powering of said decoding unit by one of feeding a constant current via said one twisted pair and a power link via a second twisted pair of said first segment;

c. interconnecting a twisted pair of a subsequent segment between said decoding unit and said B speaker for feeding B channel of said amplified stereo signals to said B speaker;

d. connecting said selector/encoder to at least one music source via a stereo cable;

e. operating said sound distribution system via touch keys of said selector/encoder or via a remote control unit associated with said selector/encoder.

2. The method for combining sound distribution system according to claim 1, wherein a rechargeable battery is associated with said A speaker to provide for higher current drain by said amplifier for increasing the sound power output, and wherein said feeding a constant current to said decoding unit includes a current for charging said battery.

The method for combining sound distribution system according to claim 1, wherein said first segment comprises said fitted network cable intersected by said at least one wall socket, said fitted network cable comprising at least said one twisted pair and wherein said decoding unit is combined with said A speaker and said subsequent segment connecting said decoding unit of said A speaker with said B speaker is one of said twisted pair and said twisted pair included in a fitted network cable.

The method for combining sound distribution system according to claim 3, wherein said A speaker includes a microphone and said decoding unit feeds a microphone signal multiplexed into said one twisted pair and at least one remote control receiver, said selector/encoder includes a separator for said microphone signal, a buffer for a signal of an intercom speaker and a port for exchanging said serial signals with said intercom, and wherein said fitted network cable connecting said selector/encoder with said wall socket includes at least three additional twisted pairs, two for connecting said intercom speaker line and a microphone line and the other for interconnecting a serial signal line of said intercom with said port for integrating said sound distribution system with said intercom, said method comprising the further steps of;

f. connecting the intercom speaker line, the microphone line and said serial signal line of said intercom to said wall socket for propagating said speaker signal to said selector/encoder, said microphone signal to said intercom and for exchanging said serial signals between said intercom and said selector/encoder;

g. commanding said selector/encoder, said decoding unit and said intercom via said serial signals to enter the intercom mode, to encode a monaural sound of said speaker signal, and to enable said microphone to communicate with said intercom;

h. controlling the communication with said intercom including the functions of said intercom operation via said touch keys or said remote control unit.

The method for combining sound distribution system according to claim 3, wherein said A speaker includes at least one remote control receiver and at least one remote control transmitter for propagating remote control signals and said selector/encoder includes a port for exchanging said serial signals, and wherein said fitted network cable connecting said selector/encoder with said wall socket includes at least one additional twisted pair for interconnecting a serial port of an home automation distributor for integrating said sound distribution system with an home automation system, said method comprising the further steps of;

f. connecting said serial port of said home automation distributor to said wall socket;

g. connecting said home automation distributor to a power feed selected from a group comprising said power supply via said second twisted pair, a direct link to said power supply and a separate power supply;

h. operating said sound distribution and said home automation by exchanging said serial signals between said home automation distributor and said selector/encoder through a medium selected from a group comprising said selector/encoder, said remote control unit, said A speaker, said serial port, a remote control driver included in said home automation system and combinations thereof.

6. A method for combining a selector/encoder, an audio distributor, at least one A speaker and at least one B speaker into a sound distribution system of an home automation by propagating an encoded signal via at least one twisted pair of a cascading network interconnections selected from a group comprising at least one twisted pair, a network cable, at least one fitted network cable and combinations thereof, wherein at least one segment of said cascading network is intersected by a wall socket selected from a group comprising a connector, a pigtail, a fitted pigtail, a junction box, a junction board, a junction strip, a terminal block and combinations thereof, said method comprising the steps of;

a. interconnecting a first segment comprising said fitted network cable intersected by said wall socket between said selector/encoder and said audio distributor, said fitted network cable includes at least said one twisted pair for feeding said encoded signal to said audio distributor and for propagating a multiplexed two way serial signals between said audio distributor and said selector/encoder;

b. interconnecting the next segment comprising at least said one twisted pair between said audio distributor and a decoding unit associated with said A speaker for distributing said encoded signal to a decoder, a stereo amplifier and a central processor of each said A speaker for decoding and outputting amplified stereo signals to said A speaker and B speaker and for propagating multiplexed serial signals between said audio distributor and each of said A speakers;

c. connecting a power supply to said audio distributor for powering said sound distribution system by one of feeding a constant current to each said A speaker over said one twisted pair of said next segment and to said selector/encoder over said one twisted pair of said first segment and a direct power link to said A speaker and to said selector/encoder via a second twisted pair of said next segment and said first segment;

d. interconnecting each decoding unit with one each of said B speaker by a twisted pair of a subsequent segment for feeding B channel of said amplified stereo signal to said B speaker;

e. connecting said selector/encoder to at least one music source via a stereo cable;

f. operating said sound distribution system via touch keys of said selector/encoder or via a remote control unit associated with said selector/encoder.

The method for combining sound distribution system according to claim 6, wherein a rechargeable battery is associated with said A speaker to provide for higher current drain by said amplifier for increasing the sound power output, and wherein said feeding a constant current to said A speaker includes the current for charging said battery.

The method for combining sound distribution system according to claim 6, wherein said at least one A speaker includes a microphone and said decoding unit feeds a microphone signal multiplexed into said one twisted pair and at least one remote control receiver, said audio distributor includes a microphone signal separator and a selector for outputting a selected microphone signal and a buffer for an intercom speaker signal, and wherein said fitted network cable of said first segment include at least one additional twisted pair for interconnecting a speaker line of said intercom with said selector/encoder, said method comprising the further steps of;

g. connecting a microphone line between said intercom and said audio distributor for outputting said selected microphone signal to said intercom;

h. connecting said speaker line between said intercom and said audio distributor for transferring an intercom speaker signal to said selector/encoder via one of said buffer and direct via said additional twisted pair;

i. connecting a serial port of said intercom to a serial port included in said audio distributor for distributing and exchanging said serial signals between said selector/encoder, said audio distributor, said A speaker and said intercom;

j. commanding said selector/encoder, said audio distributor, said decoding unit and said intercom via said serial signal and said remote control signals to select, encode and propagate a monaural sound of said intercom speaker signal and operate said microphone for communicating with said intercom;

k. controlling the communication with said intercom including the functions of said intercom operation via said touch keys or said remote control unit.

The method for combining sound distribution system according to claim 6, wherein said A speaker includes at least one remote control receiver and at least one remote control transmitter for propagating remote control signals, each said audio distributor and said selector/encoder includes a port for interconnecting serial signals and said fitted network cables of said first segment include at least an additional twisted pair for propagating said serial signals and for integrating said sound distribution system with an home automation distributor of an home automation system, said method comprising the further steps of;

g. connecting said serial port of said audio distributor with said serial port of said selector/encoder and with a serial port included in said home automation distributor for exchanging said serial commands between said home automation distributor, said audio distributor, said selector/encoder and said A speaker;

h. connecting said home automation distributor to said power supply;

i. operating said sound distribution and said home automation through a medium selected from a group comprising said selector/encoder, said remote control unit, said A speaker, said serial line, said serial ports, a remote control driver included in said home automation system and combinations thereof.

10. The method for combining sound distribution system according to claim 8, wherein said A speaker further includes at least one remote control transmitter for propagating remote control signals and for expanding the integration of said sound distribution with said intercom systems to include an home automation distributor of an home automation system, said method comprising the further steps of;

l. connecting said serial port of said audio distributor to a serial port included in said home automation distributor for exchanging serial signals between said home automation system and said audio distribution system integrated with said intercom;

m. connecting said home automation distributor to said power supply;

n. operating said sound distribution, said intercom and said home automation through a medium selected from a group comprising said selector/encoder, said remote control unit, said A speaker, said serial signal, said serial ports, said intercom, a remote control driver included in said home automation system and combinations thereof.

11. The method for combining sound distribution system according to claim 10, wherein said intercom includes a combination port for propagating a combined multiplexed signals selected from a group comprising video, audio, data, command, control, alarm and combinations thereof generated by said intercom system, including said serial signals, said intercom speaker signal and said microphone signal exchanged through said audio distributor, and wherein said home automation distributor includes a reciprocal port and an interface connector for propagating said combination of multiplexed signals to an interface unit selected from a group comprising a signal converter, a modem, ADSL, a PC, a PC server, a PC program, a network communicator, a router, a network switch and combinations thereof, said method comprising the further steps of;

o. connecting said combination port of said intercom with said reciprocal port of said home automation distributor and said interface unit to said interface connector;

p. connecting said interface unit to a network selected from a group comprising a local area network, a wide area network, a public network, a dedicated network, the Internet and combinations thereof for propagating an interfaced signal adapted for communicating via said network for remotely operating said home automation and for communicating with said intercom and with an e-station selected from a group comprising e-emergency, e-medical, e-hospital, e-service, e-shopping and combinations thereof;

q. operating said sound distribution, said intercom, said home automation and said interface unit through a medium selected from a group comprising said selector/encoder, said remote control unit, said A speaker, said serial signal, said serial port, a remote control driver included in said home automation system, said network, said Internet and combinations thereof.

The method for combining sound distribution system according to claim 11, wherein said remote control receiver and said remote control transmitter are selected from a group comprising IR, RF, wired and combinations thereof for exchanging data and signals generated by at least one emergency and medical devices associated with said intercom, said devices selected from a group comprising monitors, sensors, cameras, diagnosis, analysis, treatment, applicators, life support, rehabilitation and combinations thereof, for communicating with said e-station said data and signals outputted by said devices and for selectively operating said devices remotely.

The method for combining sound distribution system according to claim 11, wherein at least one of said home automation distributor and said interface unit includes a separator for extracting said video signal from said combined multiplexed signal for displaying a visitor image onto a screen selected from a group comprising a television set, a video monitor, a tablet monitor, a PC display monitor, a set-top box, a cable box, an antenna box, a satellite box, a digital to analog converter box, an analog to digital converter box, a tuner box, a PC, a tablet controller, a video selector and combinations thereof, said method comprising the further steps of;

r. connecting a video feed cable from one of said home automation distributor and said interface unit to said screen;

s. controlling said screen to display said image through a medium selected from a group comprising said selector/encoder, said remote control unit, said A speaker, said serial port, a remote control driver included in said home automation system, said intercom and combinations thereof.

14. A method for combining a selector/encoder, an audio distributor, at least one A speaker and at least one B speaker into a sound distribution system of an home automation by propagating an encoded signal via at least one twisted pair of a cascading network interconnections selected from a group comprising at least one twisted pair, a network cable, at least one fitted network cable and combinations thereof, wherein the first segment of said cascading network is intersected by a wall socket selected from a group comprising connector, pigtail, fitted pigtail, junction box, junction board, junction strip, terminal block and combinations thereof, said audio distributor includes a decoder, at least one stereo amplifier and buffers for distributing decoded signals to said stereo amplifier and for exchanging serial signals between said audio distributor and said selector/encoder, said method comprising the steps of;

a. interconnecting said selector/encoder with said audio distributor by said first segment comprising said fitted network cable intersected by said wall socket, said fitted network cables include said one twisted pair for feeding said encoded stereo signal to said audio distributor;

b. propagating said serial signals via one of multiplexed with said encoded stereo signal and via a second twisted pair of said first segment;

c. connecting a power supply to said audio distributor for powering said sound distribution system, including the powering of said selector/encoder via one of feeding a constant current via said one twisted pair and a direct power link via a third twisted pair of said first segment;

d. connecting said A speaker and said B speaker by last segments of at least two twisted pairs, for feeding an amplified A and B channels of a stereo signals to said A and B speakers respectively;

e. connecting said selector/encoder to at least one music source via a stereo cable;

f. operating said sound distribution system via a touch keys of said selector/encoder or via a remote control unit associated with said selector/encoder.

15. A method for combining a selector/encoder, a sound distributor, at least one A speaker and at least one B speaker into a sound distribution system by propagating an encoded stereo signal via a first twisted pair, a two way serial signal via a second twisted pair and DC power link via a third twisted pair of a cascading fitted network cables, and wherein said selector/encoder, said sound distributor, said A speaker and said B speaker include matching connectors for said fitted network cables, said method comprising the steps of;

a. interconnecting the first segment by said cascading fitted network cables intersected by a wall socket for feeding said encoded signal, and for propagating said serial signals between said selector/encoder and said sound distributor via one of multiplexed with said encoded stereo signal and via said second twisted pair;

b. interconnecting said sound distributor to said at least one A speaker using said fitted network cable of the next segment for distributing said encoded signal to a decoding unit associated with said A speaker comprising a decoder, a stereo amplifier and a central processor for decoding and outputting amplified stereo signal to said A speaker and B speaker and for exchanging said serial signals between said sound distributor, said A speaker and said selector/encoder;

c. connecting said power supply to said sound distributor for powering said sound distribution system including the power link to said selector/encoder and to said A speaker via said fitted network cable of said first segment and said next segment;

d. interconnecting each said A speaker with each of said B speaker by a twisted pair of a fitted network cable of a subsequent segment for feeding B channel of said amplified stereo signal to said B speaker;

e. connecting said selector/encoder to at least one music source via a stereo cable;

f. operating said sound distribution system via touch keys of said selector/encoder or via a remote control unit associated with said selector/encoder.

16. The method for combining sound distribution system according to claim 15, wherein said A speaker includes at least one remote control receiver and a microphone for feeding a microphone signal via a forth twisted pair of said next segment, said sound distributor includes a buffer to transfer said microphone signal via one said matching connector and via said fitted network cable to an intercom for integrating said intercom with said sound distribution system, said method comprising the further steps of;

g. connecting said fitted network cable between said intercom and said sound distributor, said fitted network cable includes at least three twisted pair for propagating signals selected from a group comprising first twisted pair for exchanging said serial signals between said intercom and said sound distributor, second twisted pair for outputting speaker signal from said intercom to said selector/encoder via said sound distributor and third twisted pair for feeding said microphone signal to said intercom via said sound distributor;

h. outputting said speaker signal from said sound distributor to said selector/encoder via a forth twisted pair of said network cables of said first segment;

i. commanding said selector/encoder, said sound distributor, said microphone buffer and said intercom via said serial signals to enter the intercom mode, to encode a monaural sound of said speaker signal and to enable said microphone to communicate with said intercom;

j. controlling the communication with said intercom including the functions of said intercom operation via said touch keys or said remote control unit.

17. The method for combining sound distribution system according to claim 15, wherein said A speaker includes at least one remote control receiver and at least one remote control transmitter for propagating remote control signals, said sound distributor is a combined distributor for integrating said serial signals and said remote control signals to control said sound distribution including appliances of an home automation, and wherein said serial signals are propagated to said appliances through at least one said fitted network cable connected via at least one of said matching connectors of said combined distributor, said method comprising the further step of;

g. operating said sound distribution and said home automation through a medium selected from a group comprising said selector/encoder, said remote control unit, said A speaker, said serial signal, a remote control driver included in said home automation system and combinations thereof.

The method for combining sound distribution system according to claim 16, wherein said at least one A speaker further includes at least one remote control transmitter for propagating remote control signals, said sound distributor is a combined distributor for integrating said serial signals and said remote control signals to control said sound distribution, said intercom and appliances of an home automation, and wherein said serial signals are propagated to said appliances through at least one said fitted network cable via at least one of said matching connectors of said combined distributor, said method comprising the further step of;

k. operating said sound distribution, said intercom and said home automation through a medium selected from a group comprising said selector/encoder, said remote control unit, said A speaker, said serial signals, said intercom, a remote control driver included in said home automation system and combinations thereof.

The method for combining sound distribution system according to claim 18, wherein said intercom includes a combination port for propagating a combined multiplexed signals selected from a group comprising video, audio, data, command, control, alarm and combinations thereof generated by said intercom system, including said serial signals, said intercom speaker signal and said microphone signal exchanged through said combined distributor, and wherein said combined distributor includes a reciprocal port and an interface connector for propagating said combination of multiplexed signals to an interface unit selected from a group comprising a signal converter, a modem, ADSL, a PC, a PC server, a PC program, a network communicator, a router, a network switch and combinations thereof, said method comprising the further steps of;

l. connecting said combination port of said intercom with said reciprocal port of said combined distributor and said interface unit to said interface connector;

m. connecting said interface unit to a network selected from a group comprising a local area network, a wide area network, a public network, a dedicated network, the Internet and combinations thereof for propagating an interfaced signal adapted for network communication via said network for remotely operating said home automation and for communicating with said intercom and with an e-station selected from a group comprising e-emergency, e-medical, e-hospital, e-service, e-shopping and combinations thereof;

n. operating said sound distribution, said intercom, said home automation and said interface unit through a medium selected from a group comprising said selector/encoder, said remote control unit, said A speaker, said serial signal, said serial port, said intercom, a remote control driver included in said home automation system, said network, said Internet and combinations thereof.

20. The method for combining sound distribution system according to claim 19, wherein said remote control receiver and said remote control transmitter are selected from a group comprising IR, RF, wired and combinations thereof for exchanging data and signals generated by at least one of emergency and medical devices associated with said intercom, said devices selected from a group comprising monitors, sensors, cameras, diagnosis, analysis, treatment, applicators, life support, rehabilitation and combinations thereof, for communicating with said e-station said data and signals outputted by said devices and for selectively operating said devices remotely.

The method for combining sound distribution system according to claim 19, wherein at least one of said combined distributor and said interface unit includes a separator for extracting said video signal from said combined multiplexed signal for displaying a visitor image onto a screen selected from a group comprising a television set, a video monitor, a tablet monitor, a PC display monitor, a set-top box, a cable box, an antenna box, a satellite box, a digital to analog converter box, an analog to digital converter box, a tuner box, a PC, a tablet controller, a video selector and combinations thereof, said method comprising the further steps of;

o. connecting a video feed cable from one of said combined distributor and said interface unit to said screen;

p. controlling said screen to display said image through a medium selected from a group comprising said selector/encoder, said remote control unit, said A speaker, said serial signals, said serial port, a remote control driver included in said home automation system, said intercom and combinations thereof.

The method for combining sound distribution system according to claim 15, wherein said B speaker includes at least one remote control receiver, at least one remote control transmitter and a driver to propagate said serial signals via a second twisted pair of said fitted network cable of said subsequent segment for expanding the control coverage for said sound distribution, and wherein a third twisted pair of said fitted network cable of said subsequent segment links the power to said B speaker.

The method for combining sound distribution system according to claim 16, wherein said B speaker includes at least one remote control receiver, at least one remote control transmitter and a driver to propagate said serial signals via a second twisted pair of said fitted network cable of said subsequent segment, for expanding the control coverage for said sound distribution and said intercom, and wherein a third twisted pair of said fitted network cable of said subsequent segment links the power to said B speaker.

The method for combining sound distribution system according to claim 17, wherein said B speaker includes at least one remote control receiver, at least one remote control transmitter and a driver to propagate said serial signals via a second twisted pair of said fitted network cable of said subsequent segment, for expanding the control coverage for said sound distribution and said home automation, and wherein a third twisted pair of said fitted network cable of said subsequent segment links the power to said B speaker.

The method for combining sound distribution system according to claim 18, wherein said B speaker includes at least one remote control receiver, at least one remote control transmitter and a driver to propagate said serial signals via a second twisted pair of said fitted network cable of said subsequent segment, for expanding the control coverage for said sound distribution, said intercom and said home automation, and wherein a third twisted pair of said fitted network cable of said subsequent segment links the power to said B speaker.

26. A selector/encoder for propagating residence information signals of a sound system selected from a group comprising an encoded signal selected from a stereo music source to at least one decoding unit associated with stereo speakers, two way serial signals, remote control signals and combinations thereof via at least one twisted pair, comprising:

audio connectors for connecting at least one said music source to a selector, twist pairs connector for connecting said one twisted pair, a receiver for said remote control signals, at least one driver selected from a group comprising a two way serial driver for said serial signals and a combined driver for said residence information signals including a multiplexed said serial signal, and a power regulator to feed a power selected from a group comprising power feed via a power connector for the circuits of said selector/encoder, power feed via a second twisted pair for said circuits, a constant current feed to said circuits via said one twisted pair, power feed via said power connector including a power feed to said decoding unit via said second twisted pair, and said power feed via said power connector including a constant current feed to said decoding unit via said one twisted pair;

an encoder and a central processor for operating said selector, said encoder and said at least one driver for encoding a signal selected from said music source and propagating said residence information signals as commanded by a medium selected from a group comprising said serial signals, said remote control signals, a remote control unit associated with said selector/encoder, touch keys of said selector/encoder and combinations thereof.

27. The selector/encoder according to claim 26, wherein said residence information signals are propagated to said decoding unit via an audio distributor.

The selector/encoder according to claim 26, wherein a microphone associated with said stereo speakers feeds a multiplexed microphone signal via said one twisted pair to said selector/encoder, a monaural intercom speaker signal is connected via said wall socket and via a forth twisted pair to a speaker buffer of an input of said selector, a serial signal port of said intercom is connected via said wall socket and via a third twisted pair to said serial driver, and wherein said power feed is said constant current via said one twisted pair;

and

said central processor operates said selector, said encoder and said combined driver to encode and propagate said monaural intercom speaker signal via said one twisted pair, extract said microphone signal via a separator included in said selector/encoder and feed said microphone signal to said intercom via a second twisted pair, as commanded by a medium selected from a group comprising said serial signals, said remote control signals, said remote control unit, said touch keys, said intercom and combinations thereof.

The selector/encoder according to claim 27, wherein a microphone associated with said stereo speakers feeds a multiplexed microphone signal via said one twisted pair to said audio distributor, a monaural intercom speaker signal is connected via one of a buffer and a transfer link of said audio distributor to said wall socket and via a forth twisted pair to an input of said selector, a serial signal line of said intercom is connected via said wall socket and via said third twisted pair to said two way serial driver, and wherein said power feed is one of said constant current via said one twisted pair and said power feed via a second twisted pair;

and

said central processor operates said selector, said encoder and said driver to encode and propagate said monaural intercom speaker signal via said one twisted pair and to command a separator included in said audio distributor to extract and feed said microphone signal to said intercom, through a medium selected from a group comprising said serial signals, said remote control signals, said remote control unit, said touch keys, said intercom and combinations thereof.

30. The selector/encoder according to claim 26, wherein said two way serial driver is connected to a serial signal port of an home automation distributor for integrating said residence information signals with an home automation distributor.

31. The selector/encoder according to claim 26, wherein said selector includes at least one more output for propagating a selected sound source to an audio signal receiving device.

32. The selector/encoder according to claim 28, wherein said two way serial driver is connected to a serial signal port of an home automation distributor for integrating said residence information signals with an home automation distributor.

33. The selector/encoder according to claim 28, wherein said selector includes at least one more output for propagating a selected sound source to an audio signal receiving device.

34. An audio distributor for distributing residence information signals of a sound system selected from a group comprising an encoded signal of a stereo music source to plurality of decoding units associated with stereo speakers, two way serial signals, remote control signals and combinations thereof via twisted pairs, comprising:

input connector for connecting at least one twisted pair and plurality of connectors, each for connecting at least one twisted pair to each of said decoding units, a two way serial driver for said serial signals and plurality of combined drivers for distributing said residence information signals including multiplexed said serial signals, received from a selector/encoder via said input connector, and a power regulator for powering said audio distributor including a power feed selected from a group comprising power feed via said input connector and a second twisted pair to said selector/encoder, power feed via a respective second twisted pair to each of said decoding unit, a constant current feed via said one twisted pair to said selector/encoder, a constant current feed to each said decoding unit via a respective said one twisted pair and combinations thereof;

a central processor for controlling said combined drivers and said serial driver for propagating said residence information signals as commanded by a medium selected from a group comprising said serial signals, a remote control signals and a remote control unit associated with said selector/encoder, touch keys of said selector/encoder and combinations thereof.

35. The audio distributor according to claim 34, wherein a multiplexed microphone signal is propagated from one of said combined drivers and said audio distributor includes an intercom selector and separator for selecting, extracting and propagating said microphone signal via a microphone line to an intercom;

a speaker line connecting said intercom to said audio distributor feeds an intercom speaker signal to said selector/encoder through a forth twisted pair via one of a direct link to said input connector and a link to said input connector via a buffer; and

said serial driver is connected via a serial line to a serial port of said intercom for exchanging commands and control the propagation of said microphone signal, said intercom speaker signal, said intercom selector and for operating other functions of said intercom and said sound system.

36. The audio distributor according to claim 35, wherein said intercom speaker line is linked to said intercom selector via one of a direct link to said intercom selector and a link to said intercom selector via said buffer, and wherein said audio distributor further includes a driver for feeding a monaural intercom speaker signal to said combined driver via said intercom selector.

37. The audio distributor according to claim 34, wherein said audio distributor is one of a combined distributor, combining audio with home automation distribution and an integrated distributor by interconnecting said serial driver with a serial port of an home automation distributor.

38. The audio distributor according to claim 35, wherein said audio distributor is one of a combined distributor, combining audio with home automation distribution and an integrated distributor by interconnecting said serial driver with a serial port of an home automation distributor.

39. The audio distributor according to claim 36, wherein said audio distributor is one of a combined distributor, combining audio with home automation distribution and an integrated distributor by interconnecting said serial driver with a serial port of an home automation distributor.

40. The audio distributor according to claim 38, wherein said home automation distributor includes connectors for inter-connecting said residence information signals including said intercom signals to an interface for processing and communicating said residence information signals including said intercom signals via a network.

41. The audio distributor according to claim 39, wherein said home automation distributor includes connectors for inter-connecting said residence information signals including said intercom signals to an interface for processing and communicating said residence information signals including said intercom signals via a network.

42. The audio distributor according to claim 38, wherein said audio distributor is said combined distributor, said input connector and said plurality of connectors are matching connectors to a fitted cables comprising twisted pairs and wherein said intercom is connected to said combined distributor via at least one said fitted cables and said matching connectors.

43. The audio distributor according to claim 39, wherein said audio distributor is said combined distributor, said input connector and said plurality of connectors are matching connectors to a fitted cables comprising twisted pairs and wherein said intercom is connected to said combined distributor via at least one said fitted cables and said matching connectors.

44. The audio distributor according to claim 40, wherein said audio distributor is said combined distributor, said input connector said plurality of connectors and said connectors for interconnecting said interface are matching connectors to a fitted cables comprising twisted pairs.

45. The audio distributor according to claim 41, wherein said audio distributor is said combined distributor, said input connector said plurality of connectors and said connectors for interconnecting said interface are matching connectors to a fitted cables comprising twisted pairs.

46. An audio distributor for receiving residence information signals of a sound system selected from a group comprising an encoded signal selected from a stereo music source including a multiplexed serial signals, two way serial signals, remote control signals and combinations thereof via at least one twisted pair, and for distributing an amplified stereo signals to at least one pair of stereo speakers, comprising:

input connector for connecting at least said one twisted pair to a selector/encoder and plurality of connectors for connecting n twisted pairs, one pair to each of said speakers, a decoding unit including a stereo decoder, a serial signal separator, a two way serial driver, n stereo amplifiers, a central processor and a power regulator to power said audio distributor including the powering of said selector/encoder via said input connector and via one of power feed via a second twisted pair and a constant current feed via said one twisted pair;

said central processor controls and operates said decoder, said serial signal separator, said serial driver and said amplifiers for propagating said amplified stereo signals to said stereo speakers and for exchanging said serial signals as commanded by a medium selected from a group comprising said serial signals, a remote control signals and a remote control unit associated with said selector/encoder, touch keys of said selector/encoder and combinations thereof.

47. The audio distributor according to claim 46, wherein said at least one stereo speaker includes at least one remote control receiver, at least one remote control transmitter and a serial driver for propagating remote control signals, said power regulator feeds power to said one stereo speaker through at least one of said plurality of connectors via a respective second twisted pair, and wherein said serial driver of said one stereo speaker connects to said serial driver of said encoder unit via said respective third twisted pair.

48. A decoding unit associated with a pair of stereo speakers for receiving and communicating residence information signals of a sound system selected from a group comprising an encoded signal of a stereo music source, a monaural intercom speaker signal, multiplexed serial signals and combinations thereof via at least one twisted pair, including the feeding of a constant current to power said decoding unit, comprising:

a DC power separator and regulator for regulating said current and powering said decoding unit, a signal separator for extracting said encoded signal and said serial signals, a decoder for decoding said encoded signal, a stereo amplifier for amplifying decoded signals of said decoder and outputting amplified speaker signals to said associated speakers and a central processor for operating said decoding unit and for communicating said serial signals with at least one of an audio distributor and a selector/encoder via said one twisted pair;

input connector for connecting said at least one twisted pair and a link to said pair of speakers selected from a group comprising internal link, terminals, connectors, matching connectors to a fitted network cable and combinations thereof.

49. The decoding unit according to claim 48, wherein a rechargeable battery is associated with said decoding unit to provide for higher current drain by said amplifier for increasing the sound power output, and wherein said feeding of a constant current to said decoding unit includes a current for charging said battery.

50. The decoding unit according to claim 48, wherein said signal separator is a combined separator and inserter for propagating two way signals and said decoding unit further includes a signal buffer for an associated microphone for multiplexing microphone signal via said inserter and outputting a multiplexed microphone signal via said one twisted pair to said at least one of said audio distributor and said selector/encoder, and wherein said central processor controls and operates said multiplexing.

51. The decoding unit according to claim 48, wherein said decoding unit further includes at least one remote control receiver for feeding remote control commands to said central processor for operating said decoder and said stereo amplifier.

52. The decoding unit according to claim 50, wherein said decoding unit further includes at least one remote control receiver for feeding remote control commands to said central processor for operating said decoder, said stereo amplifier and said inserter.

53. The decoding unit according to claim 51, wherein said decoding unit further includes at least one remote control transmitter for expanding said remote control commands coverage.

54. The decoding unit according to claim 52, wherein said decoding unit further includes at least one remote control transmitter for expanding said remote control commands coverage.

61. The decoding unit according to claim 48, wherein said decoding unit is built into a self enclosed unit selected from a group comprising inside a wall socket, in line box, wall mounted box, free standing box and combinations thereof and wherein said input connector and said link are selected from a group comprising terminals, connectors, matching connectors to a fitted network cable and combinations thereof.

63. The decoding unit according to claim 53, wherein said at least one of said pair of stereo speakers is one of a wall mounted and ceiling mounted speaker assembly and said remote control receiver and said remote control transmitter are IR receiver and IR transmitter that are rotatable and adjustable to a line of sight of a remote control unit and with a remotely controlled electrical appliance.

64. The decoding unit according to claim 54, wherein said at least one of said pair of stereo speakers is one of a wall mounted and ceiling mounted speaker assembly and said remote control receiver and said remote control transmitter are IR receiver and IR transmitter that are rotatable and adjustable to a line of sight of a remote control unit and with a remotely controlled electrical appliance.

55. A decoding unit associated with a pair of stereo speakers for receiving and communicating residence information signals of a sound system selected from a group comprising an encoded signal of a stereo music source, a monaural intercom speaker signal, multiplexed serial signals and combinations thereof via at least one twisted pair, comprising:

a power connector and a regulator for feeding power to said decoding unit, a signal separator for extracting said encoded signal and said serial signals, a decoder for decoding said encoded signal, a stereo amplifier for amplifying decoded signals of said decoder and outputting amplified speaker signals to said associated speakers and a central processor for operating said decoding unit and for communicating said serial signals with at least one of an audio distributor and a selector/encoder via said one twisted pair;

input connector for connecting said at least one twisted pair and a link to each one of said pair of speakers selected from a group comprising internal connections, terminals, connectors, matching connectors to a fitted network cable and combinations thereof.

56. The decoding unit according to claim 55, wherein said signal separator is a combined separator and inserter for propagating two way signals and said decoding unit further includes a signal buffer for an associated microphone for multiplexing microphone signal via said inserter and outputting a multiplexed microphone signal via said one twisted pair to said at least one of said audio distributor and said selector/encoder, and wherein said central processor controls and operates said multiplexing.

57. The decoding unit according to claim 55, wherein said decoding unit further includes at least one remote control receiver for feeding remote control commands to said central processor for operating said decoder and said stereo amplifier.

58. The decoding unit according to claim 56, wherein said decoding unit further includes at least one remote control receiver for feeding remote control commands to said central processor for operating said decoder, said stereo amplifier and said inserter.

59. The decoding unit according to claim 57, wherein said decoding unit further includes at least one remote control transmitter for expanding said remote control commands coverage.

60. The decoding unit according to claim 58, wherein said decoding unit further includes at least one remote control transmitter for expanding said remote control commands coverage.

62. The decoding unit according to claim 55, wherein said decoding unit is built into a self enclosed unit selected from a group comprising inside a wall socket, in line box, wall mounted box, free standing box and combinations thereof and wherein said input connector, said power connector and said link are selected from a group comprising terminals, connectors, matching connectors to a fitted network cable and combinations thereof.

65. The decoding unit according to claim 59, wherein said at least one of said pair of stereo speakers is one of a wall mounted and ceiling mounted speaker assembly and said remote control receiver and said remote control transmitter are IR receiver and IR transmitter that are rotatable and adjustable to a line of sight of a remote control unit and with a remotely controlled electrical appliance.

66. The decoding unit according to claim 60, wherein said at least one of said pair of stereo speakers is one of a wall mounted and ceiling mounted speaker assembly and said remote control receiver and said remote control transmitter are IR receiver and IR transmitter that are rotatable and adjustable to a line of sight of a remote control unit and with a remotely controlled electrical appliance.

67. The decoding unit according to claim 55, wherein said input connector and said power connector are combined into said matching connector.

68. The decoding unit according to claim 67, wherein said decoding unit is associated with a microphone for outputting microphone signals to at least one of said audio distributor and an intercom via a third twisted pair through said matching connector.

69. The decoding unit according to claim 67, wherein said decoding unit is associated with at least one of a wireless remote control receiver and a wired remote control receiver and wherein the signals of said wired remote control are propagated via a forth twisted pair through said matching connector.

70. The decoding unit according to claim 68, wherein said decoding unit is associated with at least one of a wireless remote control receiver and a wired remote control receiver and wherein the signals of said wired remote control are propagated via said forth twisted pair through said matching connector.

71. The decoding unit according to claim 69, wherein said decoding unit is further associated with at least one of a wireless remote control receiver and a wired remote control transmitter and wherein the signals of said wired remote control are propagated via said forth twisted pair through said matching connector.

72. The decoding unit according to claim 70, wherein said decoding unit is further associated with at least one of a wireless remote control transmitter and a wired remote control transmitter and wherein the signals of said wired remote control are propagated via said forth twisted pair through said matching connector.

73. The decoding unit according to claim 65, wherein a second speaker of said pair of speakers includes said rotatable and adjustable IR receiver and IR transmitter and a two way serial driver and wherein said link provides for powering said second speaker via a second twisted pair and for propagating serial signals via a forth twisted pair.

74. The decoding unit according to claim 66, wherein a second speaker of said pair of speakers includes said rotatable and adjustable IR receiver and IR transmitter and a two way serial driver and wherein said link provides for powering said second speaker via a second twisted pair and for propagating serial signals via a forth twisted pair.

75. A speaker assembly including a decoding unit for receiving and communicating residence information signals of a sound system selected from a group comprising an encoded signal of a stereo music source, a monaural intercom speaker signal, multiplexed serial signals and combinations thereof via at least one twisted pair, comprising:

a power connector and regulator for said decoding unit, a signal separator for extracting said encoded signal and said serial signals, a decoder for decoding said encoded signal, one of a monaural amplifier and a stereo amplifier for amplifying decoded signals of said decoder and outputting amplified speaker signals to said speaker, a central processor for operating said decoding unit and for communicating said serial signals with at least one of an audio distributor and a selector/encoder via said one twisted pair;

input connector for connecting said at least one twisted pair selected from a group comprising terminals, connectors, matching connectors to a fitted network cable and combinations thereof; and

wherein said central processor controls upon command said encoder, said amplifier and said speaker to output a sound selected from a group comprising a sound of a left channel of said stereo music source, a sound of a right channel of said stereo music source and a sound of said monaural intercom speaker signal.

76. The speaker assembly according to claim 75, wherein said power connector and said input connector are a combined connector selected from a group comprising terminals, connectors, matching connectors to a fitted network cable and combinations thereof.

77. The speaker assembly according to claim 76, wherein said decoder unit includes a two way serial driver for propagating said serial signal via a separate twisted pair and via said combined connector.

78. The speaker assembly according to claim 75, wherein a microphone and a signal buffer for said microphone are included in said assembly and said signal separator is a combined separator and inserter and wherein said microphone signal is buffered and multiplexed via said inserter for outputting a multiplexed microphone signal via said one twisted pair.

79. The speaker assembly according to claim 77, wherein a microphone and a signal buffer for said microphone are included in said assembly for propagating and outputting a microphone signal via a separate twisted pair of a network cable via said combined connector.

80. The speaker assembly according to claim 77, wherein at least one remote control receiver is included in said assembly for receiving remote control commands for operating said microphone in tandem with the muting of at least one of said decoder, said amplifier, said speaker and combinations thereof.
