attaching an oximeter to the chest using a pressure device of the oximeter adapted to apply pressure thereto to connect the oximeter to the chest, operating at least one radiation source of the oximeter to emit radiation onto the chest, operating at least one radiation detector of the oximeter to detect radiation reflected from the chest, and using the radiation detected by the detector to measure the oxygen saturation of haemoglobin in blood of the chest.
