Abstract

An LED (light emitting diode) lamp includes a lamp body, a plurality of fixing assemblies fixed to a top of the lamp body and a plurality of fasteners fixed to the fixing assemblies. The lamp body comprises a housing defining a plurality of runners in a top thereof and a light emitting module mounted in a bottom of the housing and applying an LED module as a light source. The fixing assemblies are placed on the top of the housing. Each fastener has a head located at an underside of a corresponding one of the fixing assemblies and securely received in a corresponding runner. The fixing assemblies are provided for securely fixing the LED lamp in position and in a desired illuminating angle.

Claims

1. An LED (light emitting diode) lamp, comprising:

a lamp body comprising a housing defining a plurality of runners in a top thereof and a light emitting module mounted in a bottom of the housing and comprising an LED module as a light source;

a plurality of fixing assemblies placed on the top of the housing for fixing the LED lamp to a mounting structure and at a selected illuminating angle; and

a plurality of fasteners fixed to the fixing assemblies, each fastener having a bolt and a nut, the bolt having a head located at an underside of a corresponding one of the fixing assemblies and received in a corresponding runner and a shaft extending from the head through the corresponding one of the fixing assemblies, the nut being tightly screwed to the bolt and on a top of the corresponding one of the fixing assemblies to securely mount the corresponding one the of the fixing assemblies to the housing.

2. The LED lamp as claimed in claim 1, wherein a plurality of fixing parts are formed on the top of the housing, each runner being defining in a corresponding one of the fixing parts.

The LED lamp as claimed in claim 2, wherein each fixing part includes a two separated fixing plates extending upwardly from the top of the housing and two locking plates extending toward each other from two top edges of the two fixing plates, the each runner being defined in a room surrounded by the locking plates and the fixing plates.

4. The LED lamp as claimed in claim 3, wherein the locking plates of the fixing parts and portions of the fixing assemblies are between the heads and nuts of the fasteners.

The LED lamp as claimed in claim 1 further comprising an additional lamp body comprising a housing defining a plurality of runners in a top thereof and a light emitting module mounted in a bottom of the housing of the additional lamp body and comprising an LED module as a light source and at least a connecting member connecting the housings of the lamp body and the additional lamp body side by side together.

6. The LED lamp as claimed in claim 5, wherein a plurality of elongated grooves spaced from each other are defined in two opposite lateral sides of each of the housings, facing ones of the elongated grooves engagingly receiving the at least a connecting member therein.

The LED lamp as claimed in claim 6, wherein the at least a connecting member has a X-shaped configuration and comprises a central portion located between the facing ones of the elongated grooves and four inserting portions engagingly received in the facing ones of the elongated grooves of adjacent lateral sides of the housings.

The LED lamp as claimed in claim 1, wherein each fixing assembly comprises a first fixing member mounted on the top of the housing and a second fixing member pivotally connected to the first fixing member, the first fixing member having a first mounting portion placed on the top of the housing and a first pivotal portion extending perpendicularly from an edge of the first mounting portion.

9. The LED lamp as claimed in claim 8, wherein the heads of the fasteners are separated from the first mounting portions and located under the first mounting portions.

The LED lamp as claimed in claim 9, wherein the second fixing member comprises a second mounting portion and a second pivotal portion extending perpendicularly from an edge of the second mounting portion, the first and second pivotal portions respectively defining a pivot hole in centers thereof and engagingly receiving an additional fastener therein to rotatably connect the first and second fixing members together.

The LED lamp as claimed in claim 10, wherein a semicircular slot is defined in the first pivotal portion, located around and above the pivot hole and adjacent to a top edge of the first pivotal portion, the semicircular slot receiving an additional fastener extended through the second pivotal portion therein.

12. The LED lamp as claimed in claim 1, wherein the housing comprises a heat spreader and a plurality of fins extending upwardly from a top surface of the heat spreader, a mounting part recessing inwardly from a bottom surface of the heat spreader and receiving the light emitting module therein.

The LED lamp as claimed in claim 12, wherein the LED module comprises an elongated printed circuit board attached to the bottom surface of the heat spreader in the mounting part and a plurality of LEDs mounted on a bottom side of the printed circuit board and arrayed in a line, the light emitting module further comprising a plurality of lens units fixed to the bottom side of the printed circuit board and respectively encasing the LEDs, and a reflector mounted on the lens units and the LED module.

The LED lamp as claimed in claim 13, wherein the reflector is received in the mounting part of heat spreader, abuts against the bottom side of the printed circuit board and defines a plurality of cavities from which central portions of the lens unit project downwardly to expose outside, periphery portions of the lens units and the printed circuit board being sandwiched between the reflector and the heat spreader.

The LED lamp as claimed in claim 13, wherein the housing has two parallel protruding strips extending downwardly from two opposite lateral edges of the heat spreader and located at two opposite lateral sides of the mounting part, and two holding plates extending inwardly toward each other respectively from bottoms of the two protruding strip, two elongated receiving slots thus being defined between the two holding plates and the heat spreader.

16. The LED lamp as claimed in claim 15, wherein the lamp body further comprises a lens plate which is attached to the bottom of the heat spreader and has two lateral side portions received in the receiving slots to cover and hold the light emitting module in the mounting part.
