Abstract

The invention relates to a composition comprising a oil-soluble high carbon polar modified polymer, a sugar silicone surfactant and a hyperbranched polyol.

Claims

1. A composition comprising at least one oil-soluble high carbon polar modified polymer, at least one sugar silicone surfactant and at least one hyperbranched polyol having at least two hydroxyl groups.

2. The composition of claim 1, wherein the composition is an emulsion.

3. The composition of claim 1, further comprising at least one colorant.

4. The composition of claim 1, further comprising water.

5. The composition of claim 4, wherein the composition comprises water in an amount ranging from about 25% to about 50% by weight with respect to the weight of the composition.

6. The composition of claim 1, wherein the composition is solid.

7. The composition of claim 6, wherein the composition is in the form of a stick.

8. The composition of claim 1, wherein the composition is a mascara, a lipstick or a foundation.

9. The composition of claim 1, wherein the at least one oil-soluble high carbon polar modified polymer comprises maleic anhydride units.

10. The composition of claim 1, wherein the oil-soluble high carbon polar modified polymer is present in an amount of from about 1% to about 20% by weight, based on the weight of the composition.

11. The composition of claim 1, wherein the oil-soluble high carbon polar modified polymer is a C26-C28 alpha olefin maleic acid anhydride copolymer wax.

12. The composition of claim 11, wherein the oil-soluble high carbon polar modified polymer is present in an amount of from about 1% to about 20% by weight, based on the weight of the composition.

13. The composition of claim 1, wherein the at least one polar modified polymer consists of polypropylene, polyetheylene and maleic anhydride units.

14. The reaction product of claim 1, wherein the at least one polar modified polymer consists of polypropylene and maleic anhydride units.

15. The composition of claim 1, further comprising at least one volatile oil.

16. The composition of claim 1, further comprising at least one non-volatile oil.

17. The composition of claim 1, wherein the sugar silicone surfactant is gluconamidoethylaminopropylsilicone.

18. The composition of claim 1, wherein the sugar silicone surfactant is present in an amount of from about 0.05 to about 25% by weight, based on the weight of the composition.

19. The composition of claim 1, wherein the hyperbranched polyol is present in an amount ranging from about 0.1 to about 15% by weight based on the total weight of the composition.
