- a. a flexible stretchable helmet with periphery edges, segments, and an opening sized to fit about and cover the forehead/crown, sides/ears, and back of the head of a patient with a head trauma;
the helmet segments proximate the ears defining ear opening observation holes to reveal any fluid discharge through the ears,b. a sterile dressing liner affixed to the inside of the helmet;
