1. A neurostimulation device configured to be compatible with an implantable cardiac medical device (ICMD) that senses cardiac activity at frequencies within an ICMD sensing frequency range, the stimulation device comprising:

  • a connector configured to be coupled to a neuro lead for delivering neurostimulation pulses to a neuro site of interest; and

a pulse generator configured to generate neurostimulation pulses for delivery by the lead to the neuro site of interest, the pulse generator generating multi-polar pulses having N poles, where N is an integer and is at least two, and wherein the energy content of each of the neurostimulation pulses is no more than 0.5 mV within an ICMD sensing frequency range of between 0 and 100 Hertz when detected at the ICMD.
