Abstract

An apparatus and method for managing a sound volume of a wireless connection device in a mobile communication terminal are provided. The method includes pre-storing a sound volume level of the wireless connection device with respect to each system supported by the mobile communication terminal, and when a call is generated, requesting to determine a sound volume by transmitting to the wireless connection device a sound volume level of a system in which the call is generated among the sound volume levels pre-stored for the respective systems.

Claims

1. A method for managing a sound volume of a wireless connection device in a mobile communication terminal, the method comprising:

pre-storing a sound volume level of the wireless connection device with respect to each system supported by the mobile communication terminal; and

when a call is generated, requesting to determine a sound volume by transmitting to the wireless connection device a sound volume level of a system in which the call is generated among the sound volume levels pre-stored for the respective systems.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the pre-storing of the sound volume level of the wireless connection device with respect to each system comprises:

processing a pre-stored sound source according to a mechanism of each system;

transmitting the sound source to the wireless connection device;

receiving the sound volume level from the wireless connection device; and

storing the received sound volume level as a sound volume level of a system that transmits the sound source.

3. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

when the sound volume is controlled by a user among the generated call, receiving the controlled sound volume level from the wireless connection device;

changing the received sound volume level to the sound volume level of the system in which the call is generated; and

storing the sound volume level.

4. The method of claim 1, wherein the sound volume level is at least one of transmittable while and transmittable after a wireless connection process is performed between the mobile communication terminal and the wireless connection device.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein the mobile communication terminal and the wireless connection device are connected by using any one of near field communication techniques.

6. A method for managing a sound volume of a device wirelessly connected to a mobile communication terminal, the method comprising:

receiving a sound volume level from the mobile communication terminal; and

determining a sound volume level of a sound signal to be output from the device according to the received sound volume level.

7. The method of claim 6, further comprising:

receiving a sound source from the mobile communication terminal and outputting the sound source;

controlling the sound volume level of the sound source under the control of a user; and

transmitting the controlled sound volume level to the mobile communication terminal.

8. The method of claim 6, further comprising, when the sound volume is controlled by a user while a call of the mobile communication terminal is connected, transmitting the controlled sound volume level to the mobile communication terminal.

9. The method of claim 6, wherein the sound volume level is at least one of received while and received after a wireless connection process is performed between the mobile communication terminal and the device.

10. The method of claim 6, wherein the mobile communication terminal and the device are connected by using any one of near field communication techniques.

11. A mobile communication terminal for managing a sound volume of a wireless connection device, the terminal comprising:

a plurality of communication units for processing transmission/reception signals respectively for a plurality of systems supported by the mobile communication terminal;

a storage unit for pre-storing sound volume levels of the wireless connection device for each of the plurality of systems; and

a controller requesting to determine a sound volume by transmitting to the wireless connection device a sound volume level of a system in which the call is generated among the sound volume levels pre-stored for the respective systems.

12. The terminal of claim 11,

wherein the storage unit stores a sound source for determining the sound volume level, and

wherein the plurality of communication units transmits the sound source according to a mechanism of each system to the wireless connection device under the control of the controller, and receives a sound volume level for each system from the wireless connection device.

The terminal of claim 11, wherein, when the sound volume is controlled by a user while the generated call is connected, the controller controls a function for receiving the controlled sound volume level from the wireless connection device and stores the sound volume level as the sound volume level of the system in which the call is generated.

14. The terminal of claim 11, wherein the controller provides control such that the sound volume level is at least one of transmitted while and transmitted after a wireless connection process is performed between the mobile communication terminal and the wireless connection device.

15. The terminal of claim 11, wherein the mobile communication terminal and the wireless connection device are connected by using any one of near field communication techniques.

16. A device wirelessly connected to a mobile communication terminal, the device comprising:

a communication unit for receiving a sound volume level from the mobile communication terminal;

a controller for determining a sound volume level of a sound signal to be output from the device according to the received sound volume level; and

an output unit for outputting the sound signal received from the mobile communication terminal according to the determined sound volume level.

17. The device of claim 16,

wherein the communication unit receives a sound source from the mobile communication terminal, and

wherein the controller controls the sound volume level of the sound source under the control of a user, and transmits the controlled sound volume level to the mobile communication terminal.

18. The device of claim 16, wherein, when the sound volume is controlled by a user while a call of the mobile communication terminal is connected, the controller controls a function for transmitting the controlled sound volume level to the mobile communication terminal.

19. The device of claim 16, wherein the communication unit receives at least one of the sound volume level while and the sound volume level after a wireless connection process is performed between the mobile communication terminal and the device.

20. The device of claim 16, wherein the mobile communication terminal and the device are connected by using any one of near field communication techniques.
