shutter glasses comprising a left-eye shutter and a right-eye shutter alternately turned on and off in synchronization with the display device; and
a backlight unit that irradiates light to the display device and is periodically turned on and off,wherein the backlight unit is turned on when a predetermined time determined according to a response time of liquid crystal lapses from a start point of a frame period.
