A kit comprising a container that includes a composition comprising an antibody targeted to S1P and a label containing directions for performing a method in a patient diagnosed with cancer, wherein the method comprises a combination therapy that includes administering a therapeutically effective amount of the antibody targeted to S1P and a chemotherapeutic agent.
