CONSOLIDATED ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT AND RELAY PROGRAM IMPLEMENTED IN THE SAME
First Claim
1. A relay program for enabling a computer to relay a parameter inputted/outputted by a first program when the first program is performed between the first program and a second program other than the first program, the first program being implemented and specified as a specific program in a consolidated ECU (electronic control unit) integrally produced by a plurality of ECUs, the second program being implemented in the consolidated ECU, the relay program stored in a memory in advance and readable by the computer when the computer is activated, and the relay program enabling the computer to have functions of:
- acquisition means for acquiring either an internal parameter or an external parameter, the internal parameter being a parameter that is to be used by the first program, the external parameter being a parameter that corresponds to the internal parameter and that is to be used by the second program; and
rewriting means for rewriting the internal and external parameters into the external and internal parameters, respectively, with reference to a correspondence list previously set between the internal parameter and the external parameter.

Abstract
In a consolidated electronic control unit (ECU) integrally produced by a plurality of conventional ECUs, an inventive relay program is adapted to enable a CPU of the consolidated ECU to rewrite internal and external parameters into the external and internal parameters, respectively, with reference to a correspondence list previously set between the internal parameter and the external parameter. The internal parameter is a parameter that is to be used by a specific program implemented in the consolidated ECU. The external parameter is a parameter that corresponds to the internal parameter and that is to be used by a non specific program implemented in the consolidated ECU.
