1. A method to manage the presentation of content from multiple sources in a digital display device, comprising:
- receiving, in a digital display device, a first video signal from a first video source;
extracting at least a first metadata from the first video signal;
using the first metadata to obtain a second video signal from a second video source;
presenting the first video signal on the digital display device;
combining at least a portion of the second video signal and at least a portion of the first video signal to generate a combined video signal; and
presenting the combined video signal on a display.
