1. A calibration device for calibrating a noninvasive sensor, the calibration device comprising:

  • a blood model container comprising at least one recess disposed on its surface, the at least one recess configured to move past a non-invasive sensor in order to generate at least one parameter measurement;

    a first portion of the at least one recess holding a first amount of blood model; and

    a second portion of the at least one recess holding a second amount of the blood model, wherein the second amount of the blood model in the second portion is greater than the first amount of the blood model held in the first portion.
