Abstract

A communication entrepreneur has an application server 2 having message conversion function. The application server 2 performs service function distribution processing with reference to trigger rule 220 and message rule 230. The communication entrepreneur can provide various service functions without notifying individual server addresses to a service entrepreneur.

Claims

1. A communication system including at least one terminal, a service control server which provides communication service to the terminal, a Web server having a user interface and an application server having a communication line with the Web server and the service control server, wherein

the application server comprises means to specify corresponding service function from an identifier contained in a service request signal received when the service request signal is received from the Web service, means to convert received message in accordance with the specified service function and means to start the service control server in accordance with the received service request signal.

2. A communication system according to claim 1, wherein the application server further comprises means to convert the service request signal into a session control signal.

3. A communication system according to claim 2, wherein the session control signal is SIP.

4. A communication system according to claim 1, wherein the application server further comprises means to detect whether additional information processing corresponding the service request signal is present or not and means to realize a program corresponding to the additional information processing when the additional information processing is detected.

5. A communication system according to claim 4, wherein the service request signal is Parlay X API.

6. A communication system according to claim 5, wherein when the application server receives the service request signal of Parlay X API, the application server specifies the service control server having service function in accordance with message contained in Parlay X API.

7. An application server comprising a communication line with a service control server providing communication service to a terminal and a Web server having a user interface, means to specify corresponding service function from an identifier contained in a service request signal received when the service request signal is received from the Web server, means to convert received message in accordance with the specified service function and means to start the service control server in accordance with the received service request signal.

8. An application server according to claim 7, comprising means to convert the service request signal into session control signal.

9. An application server according to claim 8, wherein the session control signal is SIP.

10. An application server according to claim 7, further comprising means to detect whether additional information processing corresponding the service request signal is present or not and means to realize a program corresponding to the additional information processing when the additional information processing is detected.

11. An application server according to claim 10, wherein the service request signal is Parlay X API.

12. An application server according to claim 11, wherein when the service request signal of Parlay X API is received, the service control server having service function is specified in accordance with message contained in Parlay X API.

13. A communication method in a communication system including at least one terminal, a service control server which provides communication service to the terminal, a Web server having a user interface and an application server having a communication line with the Web server and the service control server, wherein

the application server comprises means to specify corresponding service function from an identifier contained in a service request signal received when the service request signal is received from the Web service and means to convert received message in accordance with the specified service function, the service control server being started in response to the received service request signal.

14. A communication method according to claim 13, wherein the application server further comprises means to convert the service request signal into session control signal.

15. A communication system including at least one terminal, a service control server which provides communication service to the terminal, a Web server having a user interface and an application server having a communication line with the Web server and the service control server, wherein

the application server comprises means to specify corresponding service function from an identifier contained in a service request signal received when the service request signal is received from the Web service, means to start the service control server in response to the received service request signal and means to convert received message in accordance with the service function specified by the service control server.

16. A communication system according to claim 15, wherein the service control server further comprises means to convert the service request signal into session control signal.

17. A communication system according to claim 16, wherein the session control signal is SIP.

18. A communication system according to claim 15, wherein the application server further comprises means to detect whether additional information processing corresponding to the service request signal is present or not and means to realize a program corresponding to the additional information processing when the additional information processing is detected.

19. A communication system according to claim 18, wherein the service request signal is Parlay X API.

20. A communication system according to claim 19, wherein when the application server receives the service request signal of Parlay X API, the application server specifies the service control server having service function in accordance with message contained in Parlay X API.
