1. A method for setting a desired horizontal plane of occusion and the incisal length of a permanent dental restoration;
- said method comprising the steps of;
temporarily adhering a demonstration dental template at a desired position to overlay in front of the teeth of a patient at a desired plane of occusion and at a desired incisal length to provide an unobstructed view of the demonstration dental template to said patient;
taking digital imagery of said demonstration dental template at said desired position to record said desired plane of occlusion and said desired incisal length;
removing said demonstration dental template from said teeth;
preparing natural teeth for the installation of a permanent restoration;
taking three dimensional digital imagery of said prepared teeth; and
correlating said digital imagery of said prepared teeth with said digital imagery of said demonstration dental template for use in manufacturing said permanent restoration.
