Abstract

The invention relates to cosmetic or dermatological compositions containing mannoproteins as an active ingredient and/or adjuvant, to the use of said cosmetic or dermatological compositions and to cosmetic treatment methods.

Claims

1. A method of cosmetic treatment intended to moisturize the epidermis, improve the firmness of the dermis, combat ageing of the skin, regulate the secretion of sebum, repair the hair and/or improve the growth of the hair comprising a stage of bringing a composition comprising mannoproteins extracted from the cell walls of fungi, said composition containing no polyphenols, into contact with the skin and/or with the skin appendages.

2. The method of cosmetic treatment of claim 1, wherein the mannoproteins originate from Saccharomyces, Kluyveromyces, Torula or Candida.

The method of cosmetic treatment of claim 1, wherein the mannoproteins have a moisturizing effect, and/or a firming effect, and/or an anti-ageing effect, and/or an anti-seborrhea effect, and/or a reconstructive effect of the hair and/or an effect on the sheen and/or the softness and/or the growth of the hair.

4. The method of cosmetic treatment of claim 1, wherein the mannoproteins have a texturizing effect in the presence of another texturizing product.

5. The method of cosmetic treatment of claim 1, wherein the mannoproteins are also present as a surfactant, or as an emulsifier.

6. The method of cosmetic treatment of claim 1, wherein the composition comprises from 0.01% to 20% mannoproteins.

A method of dermatological treatment intended for treating and/or for preventing pathological cutaneous dryness, pathological hyperseborrhea, acne, and/or pathological hair loss, comprising a stage of bringing a composition comprising mannoproteins extracted from the cell walls of fungi into contact with the skin and/or with the skin appendages.

A cosmetic or dermatological composition comprising mannoproteins extracted from the cell walls of fungi, as an active ingredient and/or an additive, wherein said active ingredient has a moisturizing effect and/or a firming effect and/or an anti-ageing effect and/or an anti-seborrhea effect and/or an anti-acne effect and/or a reconstructive effect on the hair, and/or an effect on the sheen and/or the softness and/or the growth of the hair, wherein the composition contains no polyphenols nor ovomucin.

9. The composition of claim 8, wherein the mannoproteins originate from Saccharomyces, Kluyveromyces, Torula or Candida.

10. The composition of claim 8, wherein said additive has a texturizing effect in the presence of another texturizing product.

11. The composition of claim 8, wherein the mannoproteins are also present as a surfactant or as an emulsifying agent.

12. The composition of claim 8, comprising from 0.01% to 20% mannoproteins.

13. The composition of claim 8, wherein the mannoproteins are present as a texturizing agent in combination with another texturizing product.

16. The composition of claim 13, wherein the other texturizing product is xanthan gum.

17. The composition of claim 16, wherein the mass ratio of the mannoproteins to the xanthan gum is comprised between 1:
