1. Inductive coupled power transmission circuit having a rotating transformer, comprisingan AC voltage supply for feeding an AC voltage via a series capacitor into the primary winding of said rotating transformer and a load being coupled to the secondary winding of said rotating transformer, wherein said AC voltage supply comprisesa line rectifier for receiving AC voltage from a power line and generating a DC voltage;

  • a DC/DC converter for converting the DC voltage from the line rectifier into a controlled intermediate DC voltage;

    an AC generator for generating said AC voltage from said intermediate DC voltage;

    a matching transformer being connected to said AC generator and said primary winding of the rotating transformer for matching impedance and voltage levels;

    a measuring circuit for measuring voltages and/or currents within the AC voltage supply; and

    a function generator for estimating voltage and/or current values at the load based on the measured values and for controlling the DC/DC converter and/or the AC generator based on the estimated voltage and/or current values to keep the load current or voltage constant.
