Abstract

An edge is provided between an outer peripheral part of a diaphragm and a frame. The edge includes a concave part which is formed along the outer peripheral part of the diaphragm and which includes a recess. The concave part is comprised of a first material. A second material is filled in a part of the recess and has lower density than the first material.

Claims

1. An edge provided between an outer peripheral part of a diaphragm and a frame, the edge comprising a concave part which is formed along the outer peripheral part of the diaphragm and which includes a recess, the concave part comprised of a first material, a second material which is filled in a part of the recess and which has lower density than the first material.

2. The edge according to claim 1, wherein the second material is filled in an entirety of the recess.

3. The edge according to claim 1, wherein the second material includes expandable material.

4. The edge according to claim 1, integrally formed with the outer peripheral part of the diaphragm.

5. A speaker incorporating the edge according to claim 1.
