Abstract

A lighting device includes a first lighting module, a second lighting module, a case coupled to the first and second lighting modules, and a power circuit between the first and second lighting modules. Each of the first and second lighting modules includes a plurality of light emitting diodes (LEDs), and bottom surfaces of the first and second lighting modules and the power circuit are aligned on substantially a same plane.

Claims

1. A lighting device comprising:

a first lighting module;

a second lighting module;

a case coupled to the first and second lighting modules; and

a power circuit between the first and second lighting modules, wherein;

each of the first and second lighting modules includes a plurality of light emitting diodes (LEDs), and

bottom surfaces of the first and second lighting modules and the power circuit are aligned on substantially a same plane.

2. The lighting device of claim 1, further comprising:

first and second louvers coupled to the first lighting module; and

third and fourth louvers coupled to the second lighting module.

3. The lighting device of claim 2, wherein the second louver is coupled to the third louver and wherein the power circuit is located in a space covered by the second and third louvers.

4. The lighting device of claim 2, wherein the second louver is integrally formed with the third louver and wherein the power circuit is located in a space covered by the second and third louvers.

5. The lighting device of claim 2, wherein the first, second, third, and fourth louvers are curved and wherein the first and third louvers are curved in a same direction and the second and fourth louvers are curved in a same direction different from the direction in which the first and third louvers are curved.

6. The lighting device of claim 5, wherein the first, second, third, and fourth louvers are concave.

7. The lighting device of claim 5, wherein the first, second, third, and fourth louvers are convex.

8. The lighting device of claim 2, wherein the first, second, third, and fourth louvers are substantially linear and wherein the first and third louvers extend in a same direction and the second and fourth louvers extend in a same direction different from the direction in which the first and third louvers extend.

9. The lighting device of claim 3, wherein the first and fourth louvers include or are attached to respectively coupling members to couple the device to a ceiling or other surface.

10. The lighting device of claim 2, further comprising:

a first diffuser over the first lighting module; and

a second diffuser over a second lighting module.

11. The lighting device of claim 10, wherein the first and second diffusers are substantially coplanar.

12. The lighting device of claim 11, wherein the first lighting module includes a first slanted side surface and a second slanted side surface and wherein the first diffuser is coupled between the first and second slanted side surfaces.

13. A lighting device comprising:

a case comprising

bottom plate;

a side wall substantially vertically extending from both ends of the bottom plate; and

a louver inclined from both ends of the side wall with respect to a surface of the side wall;

a light emitter seated on the bottom plate; and

a diffuser plate being spaced apart from and in parallel with the light emitter and having its both ends arranged at the both ends of the side wall.

14. The lighting device of claim 13, further comprising a reflector being arranged on inner surface of the side wall of the case and reflecting light emitted from the light emitter and emitting the reflected light to the outside through the diffuser plate.

15. The lighting device of claim 14, wherein a surface of the reflector is inclined at a predetermined angle with respect to the inner surface of the side wall.

16. The lighting device of claim 13, further comprising a support frame comprising:

a frame body surrounding outer lateral surface of the case;

a case support extending from inner lateral surface of the frame body and supporting the weight of the case; and

a ceiling fixed part extending from outer lateral surface of the frame body and being fixed to the ceiling.

17. The lighting device of claim 13, wherein the side wall of the case comprises a coupling groove being formed at both ends thereof and allowing the both ends thereof to be coupled to the diffuser plate.

18. The lighting device of claim 17, wherein the diffuser plate is coupled to the coupling groove in a sliding way.

20. The lighting device of claim 13, wherein the case comprises:

a first case and a second case being coupled to each other and having a predetermined space formed therebetween;

a first light emitter and a second light emitter, each of which is arranged on the bottom plates of the first case and the second case respectively; and

an electric power controller arranged on a line extending from the bottom surfaces of the first light emitter and the second light emitter to the space between the first light emitter and the second light emitter.

19. The lighting device of 13, wherein the case has a cross section formed by cutting the case in a direction perpendicular to one direction of the case, and wherein the cross section has a uniform shape in the one direction.
