Abstract
The invention relates to a method and device for recording and presentation of physiological parameters, which can include both blood pressure and heart pulse. Information about the heart pulse is derived from a recorded blood pressure signal, whereby the need for e.g. an external ECG measurement device is eliminated. It is likewise a part of the invention that a blood pressure measurement is used for the derivation of data such as Heart Rate Variability (HRV) and/or baroreflex sensitivity (BRS) values.

27. A single measurement device, comprising:
at least one integrated pressure transducer, the measurement device being configured to measure and record at least three physiological examination sequences selected from the group consisting of a resting heart rate, a beat-to-beat heart rate variation, a heart rate response to standing, a heart rate response to Valsalva maneuver, a systolic blood pressure response to standing and a diastolic blood pressure response to isometric exercise, the measurement device further being configured to measure and record an exhalation air pressure and to convey real-time information on an exhalation air pressure measurement to a user such that the user is guided to a correct exhalation air pressure in the at least three physiological examination sequences. - View Dependent Claims (28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41)
