1. A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus for acquiring k-space data from a deformable imaging region of a subject and generating image data of the imaging region at the time of being deformed to a predetermined state, based on the acquired k-space data, said magnetic resonance imaging apparatus comprising:

  • a gradient coil configured to apply a gradient magnetic field in a phase encoding direction; and

    an image data calculation device configured to calculate a numeric value for defining a relationship between the imaging region at the time of being deformed to the predetermined state and the imaging region at an nth phase encoding and to calculate image data of the imaging region at the time of being deformed to the predetermined state, based on the calculated numeric value and the k-space data acquired from the imaging region.
