1. Method in a repeater node for enabling frequency selective repetition of signals in a telecommunication system in which aggregation of component carriers is applied, said method comprising the steps of:

  • receiving information signals in a first set of frequency bands defined to cover anchor carrier(s),receiving information signals in a second set of frequency bands defined to cover non-anchor carrier(s),receiving instructions concerning which frequency band(s) or subset thereof that should be repeated,filtering out the frequency band(s) to be repeated according to the received instructions,repeating the frequency band(s) to be repeated according to the received instructions,wherein the first set of frequency bands can be used by both legacy and non-legacy terminals, and the second set of frequency bands only can be used by non-legacy terminals.
