A device for detecting vital signs, comprising a sensor and a power supply module, the sensor has at least one detection means designed to detect a vital sign from the group comprising oxygen content of the blood, body temperature, skin moisture, conductivity of the skin, pulse, and a first communication module, and the power supply module has a second communication module and a power source, and a wireless communication link exists between the first and second communication module, wherein the sensor is provided in the form of a thin-film sensor and the communication link is configured to transmit power and measured values or measurement data.
