A system for operating an electronic device comprising a storage device, a stylus having a projection and, a structure on an interior side of the storage device on which a projection slides such that when the stylus is inserted into the storage device, the stylus rotates relative to the storage device during insertion and is moved into a predetermined orientation among a group of predetermined orientations.

A system for operating an electronic device comprising a storage device which has a projection on an inside portion thereof, a stylus which can be inserted into the storage device and a structure provided on an outside portion of the stylus, wherein the projection slides on the structure such that when the stylus is inserted into the storage device the stylus rotates relative to the storage device during insertion and is moved into a predetermined orientation among a group of predetermined orientations.
