Abstract

A portable heater with ovoid receptacle is disclosed. The portable heater comprises a top member comprising a semi-ovoid cavity, a bottom member comprising a semi-ovoid cavity, a hinge operatively connected to the top and bottom members, and a heating mechanism.

Claims

1. A portable heater with ovoid receptacle comprising:

a top member comprising a semi-ovoid cavity;

a bottom member comprising a semi-ovoid cavity;

a hinge operatively connected to said top and bottom members; and

a heating mechanism.

2. The portable heater of claim 1, wherein said semi-ovoid cavities of said top and bottom members form a unitary ovoid cavity in a closed configuration of said portable heater.

3. The portable heater of claim 1, wherein said top member comprises at least one pin and said bottom member comprises at least one recess and said heating mechanism is operative only when said at least one pin and said at least one recess interface.

4. The portable heater of claim 1, wherein each said semi-ovoid cavity is substantially identical to any other.

5. The portable heater of claim 2, further comprising a detergent-soaked pad adapted for placement in said unitary ovoid cavity.

6. The portable heater of claim 5, wherein said pad is foil-lined.

7. The portable heater of claim 6, wherein said pad is textured.

8. A method for removing sebum from a face comprising:

warming a textured pad in a cavity of a portable heater;

removing said pad from said heater;

gently wiping said pad across at least a portion of said face.

9. The method of claim 8, wherein said textured pad is ovoid-shaped.

10. The method of claim 9, wherein said textured pad is pre-soaked in oil.

11. A case comprising:

a battery compartment;

a first and second semi-ovoid cavity;

at least one metal heating mechanism situated within said case and operatively connected to said battery compartment and said semi-ovoid cavity.

12. The case of claim 11, further comprising a second metal heating mechanism situated within said case and operatively connected to a battery compartment and a second semi-ovoid cavity.

13. The case of claim 12, wherein a first member comprises said first semi-ovoid cavity and a second member comprises said second semi-ovoid cavity.

14. The case of claim 13, wherein said first and second members are hingedly attached.

15. The case of claim 14, wherein, unless at least one pin of said first member and at least one corresponding recess of said second member are engaged, said heating mechanism is inoperative.

16. A kit comprising a portable heater with ovoid receptacle and ovoid pad, said pad being pre-soaked with a cleansing agent.

17. The kit of claim 16, wherein said cleansing agent is selected from the group consisting of an oil, detergent, sterile water, or a combination thereof.

18. The kit of claim 16, wherein said ovoid pad is wrapped in foil in said kit.

19. The kit of claim 16, wherein a first member comprises a first half of said ovoid receptacle and a second member comprises a second half of said ovoid receptacle.

20. The kit of claim 19, wherein said first and second members are hingedly attached.
