1. A method for detecting a delinquent or dormant customer record in a customer relationship management (CRM) database using a computer arrangement, the method including the steps of:

  • determining that the customer record does not relate to an existing customer for whom work is in progress;

    determining that the customer record does not relate to a prospective customer; and

    detecting the customer record when a future activity date associated with the customer record has passed.
