Abstract

Provided is a system and method for performing an auto scroll. The system for performing the auto scroll may include an auto scroll determination unit to determine whether to perform the auto scroll on a page, an auto scroll performing unit to perform the auto scroll on the page so that a main text of the page may be obtained with focus, and a page providing unit to output the auto scrolled page. According to exemplary embodiments of the present invention, even though a user does not manually scroll to data of the page to be viewed, the data of the page may automatically be scrolled so that the data may be obtained with focus.

Claims

1. An apparatus for performing an auto scroll, the apparatus comprising:

an auto scroll determination unit to determine whether to perform the auto scroll of a page;

an auto scroll performing unit to perform the auto scroll of the page to focus a main text of the page; and

a page providing unit to provide the auto scrolled page.

2. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the

auto scroll determination unit comprising a header extractor to extract a header of source code of the page, and a referrer determination unit to determine whether a referrer of the header comprises a character string.

3. The apparatus of claim 2, wherein the referrer determination unit is configured to determine whether the referrer comprises a character string indicating a page search site.

4. The apparatus of claim 2, wherein the page comprises instructions associated with configuring a blog or an Internet cafe.

5. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein

the auto scroll unit is configured to perform the auto scroll on the page by adding a parameter for the auto scroll to a uniform resource locator (URL) of the page.

6. The apparatus of claim 5, wherein a tag location indicating the main text of the page is automatically scrolled to obtain a focus by applying a scroll view function to the page.

7. A method, comprising:

determining whether to perform the auto scroll on a page, the page comprising image data and text data, each data locates the respective regions of the page, wherein data of the page is automatically scrolled and being displayed to a user, the determination is associated with identifying of auto scrolling data with respect to each location of the image data and text data; and

outputting auto scrolled data of the page.

8. The method of claim 7, wherein determining further comprising:

extracting a header of source code of the page; and

determining whether a referrer of the header comprises a predetermined character string.

9. The method of claim 8, wherein determining further comprises determining whether the referrer comprises a character string indicating a page search site.

10. The method of claim 7, wherein the page comprises instructions associated with configuring a blog or an Internet cafe.

11. The method of claim 7, wherein outputting auto scrolled data further comprises performing the auto scroll on the page by adding a parameter to a uniform resource locator (URL) of the page associated with the auto scrolling.

12. The method of claim 7, wherein outputting auto scrolled data comprises performing the auto scrolling by applying a scroll view to the page, wherein a tag location indicating the data of the page being displayed to the user is focused.

13. A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising an executable program, which when executed, performs the method of claim 7.

14. A device, comprising:

a processor configured to determine whether to perform an auto scroll on a page, the page comprising image data and text data, each data locates the respective regions of the page, wherein data of the page is automatically scrolled and being displayed to a user according to source code of the page, the determination is associated with identifying of auto scrolling data with respect to each location of the image data and text data
