- a central unit; and
a plurality of remote units each equipped with a display and connected to the central unit by means of a transmission network such that the system is usable during at least one of a conference, a congress, theater performances, sports events, and in the didactic and cultural field,wherein the system is provided with bi-directional data transmission means on said network, and the plurality of remote units are provided with at least an interface and with audio/video, data and graphs accelerators disposed on a microprocessor housed in each of the plurality of remote units, andfurther wherein the system has a strong calculation capability and a low consumption, without moving or noisy parts, thereby allowing a reduced thermal dissipation, such enabling the use in applications in environments with no interchange possibilities for hot air to be eliminated.
