Abstract

A method for playing contents is provided. In the method, information corresponding, respectively, to a plurality of contents may be displayed, and a drag and drop operation related to first contents information and second contents information among the displayed contents information may be received. Thereafter, the first contents and the second contents may be played.

Claims

1. A method for playing displaying contents, the method comprising:

displaying information corresponding, respectively, to a plurality of contents;

receiving a drag and drop operation related to information associated with a first contents and a second contents among the displayed information; and

displaying the first contents and the second contents based on the drag and drop operation.

2. The method according to claim 1, wherein the displaying the first contents and the second contents based on the drag and drop operation comprises displaying the first contents and the second contents on one screen based on the drag and drop operation.

3. The method according to claim 1, wherein the displaying the first contents and the second contents based on the drag and drop operation comprises displaying the first contents and the second contents simultaneously based on the drag and drop operation.

4. The method according to claim 1, wherein the drag and drop operation comprises dragging the displayed first contents information and dropping the dragged first contents information in a display region of the second contents information.

5. The method according to claim 4, wherein the displaying the first contents and the second contents comprises displaying the first contents and the second contents simultaneously on one screen in response to the drag and drop operation.

6. The method according to claim 4, wherein the displaying the first contents and the second contents comprises displaying one of the first contents or the second contents in a main screen and displaying the other of the first contents or the second contents in a sub screen.

7. The method according to claim 6, wherein the displaying the first contents and the second contents comprises displaying the first contents corresponding to the dragged information in a sub screen.

8. The method according to claim 6, further comprising:

selecting one of the first contents or the second contents; and

displaying the selected contents in a full screen and stopping the display of the non-selected contents.

9. The method according to claim 6, further comprising:

receiving an operation for dragging one of the displayed first contents or the displayed second contents to drop the dragged contents in a display region of the other one of the displayed first contents or the displayed second contents; and

interchangeably displaying the displayed first contents and the displayed second contents, respectively, in the main screen and the sub screen.

10. The method according to claim 6, further comprising:

selecting one of the first contents or the second contents displayed in the sub screen;

displaying a menu window that sets the sub screen; and

interchangeably displaying the displayed first contents and displayed second contents, respectively, in the main screen and the sub screen or stopping the display of the sub screen, according to a user input for the displayed menu window.

11. The method according to claim 6, wherein a location of the sub screen corresponds to a drop location of the first contents information in the display region of the second contents information.

12. The method according to claim 6, further comprising:

receiving an operation for dragging the contents displayed in the sub screen to drop the dragged contents in a first region on the screen; and

displaying the sub screen in the first region.

13. The method according to claim 1, wherein the drag and drop operation comprises dragging and dropping the first contents information in a first region on the screen and dragging and dropping the second contents information in a second region on the screen.

14. The method according to claim 13, wherein the displaying the first contents and the second contents comprises displaying the first contents and the second contents on the screen simultaneously, wherein display regions of the first and second contents correspond, respectively, to the first and second regions.

15. The method according to claim 1, wherein the drag and drop operation comprises dragging the first contents information together with information associated with a third content and dropping the same in a display region of the second contents information, and wherein the displaying the first content and the second contents comprises displaying the second contents in a main screen and displaying the first contents and the third contents in sub screens.

16. The method according to claim 1, wherein the displaying the information corresponding to a plurality of contents comprises displaying a plurality of videos corresponding, respectively, to the plurality of contents.

17. The method according to claim 1, wherein at least one of the plurality of contents comprises a broadcast channel video.

18. The method according to claim 1, wherein playing the first and second channels based on the drag and drop operation comprises playing the first and second channels on one screen based on the drag and drop operation.

19. The method according to claim 1, further comprising a virtual screen region, wherein the drag and drop operation comprises dragging the displayed first contents information and dropping the dragged first contents information in the virtual screen region.

20. The method according to claim 19, wherein the drag and drop operation further comprises dragging the displayed second contents information and dropping the second contents information in the virtual screen region.

21. The method according to claim 20, wherein the displaying the first contents and the second contents based on the drag and drop operation comprises displaying the first contents and the second contents on one screen based on the drag and drop operation.

22. The method according to claim 21, wherein the displaying the first contents and the second contents based on the drag and drop operation comprises displaying the first contents and the second contents simultaneously based on the drag and drop operation.

23. A computer-readable recording medium storing a program for executing the method of claim 1 in a computer.

24. A method for playing a plurality of broadcast channels, the method comprising:

displaying images corresponding, respectively, to a plurality of broadcast channels;

receiving a drag and drop operation for dragging an image associated with a first channel among the displayed images to drop the dragged image into a display region of an image associated with a second channel; and

playing the first and second channels based on the drag and drop operation.

25. The method according to claim 24, wherein playing the first and second channels based on the drag and drop operation comprises playing the first and second channels on one screen based on the drag and drop operation.

26. The method according to claim 24, wherein playing the first and second channels based on the drag and drop operation comprises playing the first and second channels on one screen simultaneously based on the drag and drop operation.

27. The method according to claim 24, wherein the displaying the images comprises displaying images associated with the first and second channels, respectively, in a sub screen and a main screen.

28. The method according to claim 27, further comprising:

receiving an operation for dragging a video of the second channel displayed in the main screen to drop the dragged video in a sub-screen region displaying a video of the first channel; and

interchangeably displaying the videos of the first and second channels, respectively, in the main screen and the sub screen.

29. The method according to claim 27, wherein a location of the sub screen corresponds to a drop location of the image associated with first channel in a display region of the image associated with the second channel.

30. A computer-readable recording medium storing a program for executing the method of claim 24 in a computer.
