Abstract

The present invention provides a polymerizable composition that exhibits high photocurability not only in the case of using a halogen lamp-curing unit but also in the case of using an LED light-curing unit, hardly has discoloration even when stored for a long time, and when applied to a dental material, a cured product of which has high bond strength to a tooth structure. The present invention is a polymerizable composition including: a photopolymerization initiator composition containing a photopolymerization initiator component consisting of only a bisacylphosphine oxide (A) and α-diketone (B), and tertiary amine (C); and a polymerizable monomer (D). A weight ratio (A):(B) between the bisacylphosphine oxide (A) and the α-diketone (B) is 1:9 to 9:1, and a weight ratio (D):(C) between the polymerizable monomer (D) and the tertiary amine (C) is 100:0.5 to 100:10.

Claims

1. A polymerizable composition comprising:

a photopolymerization initiator composition containing a photopolymerization initiator component consisting of only a bisacylphosphine oxide (A) and α

-diketone (B), and tertiary amine (C); and

a polymerizable monomer (D), wherein

a weight ratio (A);

(B) between the bisacylphosphine oxide (A) and the α

-diketone (B) is 1;

9 to 9;

1, and

a weight ratio (D);

(C) between the polymerizable monomer (D) and the tertiary amine (C) is 100;

0.5 to 100;

2. The polymerizable composition according to claim 1, wherein the bisacylphosphine oxide (A) is a compound represented by formula (1) below:

3. The polymerizable composition according to claim 1, wherein a weight ratio (B):

4. The polymerizable composition according to claim 1, wherein a component involved in photopolymerization consists essentially of the bisacylphosphine oxide (A), the α

-diketone (B), and the tertiary amine (C).

5. The polymerizable composition according to claim 1, wherein the polymerizable monomer (D) is at least one polymerizable monomer selected from the group consisting of:

a polymerizable monomer (d-1) having an unconjugated carbon chain with at least four carbon atoms bonded continuously, at least two polymerizable groups, and at least two hydroxyl groups;

a polymerizable monomer (d-2) having one polymerizable group and at least one hydroxyl group;

a polymerizable monomer (d-3) having an acidic group; and

a crosslinkable polymerizable monomer (d-4) other than the polymerizable monomer (d-1).

6. The polymerizable composition according to claim 5, wherein the polymerizable monomer (d-1) is a compound represented by formula (2) below:

7. The polymerizable composition according to claim 1, wherein a total content of the bisacylphosphine oxide (A) and the α

-diketone (B) is 0.1 to 20 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the polymerizable monomer (D).

8. The polymerizable composition according to claim 1, being for a dental application.

9. A dental bonding material using the polymerizable composition according to claim 1.
