Abstract

A reservoir and application device including an applicator having a stem and a brush at the end of this stem, the brush presenting a largest transversal dimension between 9 and 14 mm, the brush being at least 30% wider than it is thick in cross section, a reservoir containing the product to be applied, having a wiper member defining a wiper orifice traversed by the brush when it is removed from the reservoir, the diameter of the wiper orifice being between 2.5 and 5.5 mm.

16. A device comprising:

an applicator having a stem and a brush at the end of this stem, the brush presenting a largest transversal dimension between 9 and 14 mm, the brush being at least 30% wider than it is thick in cross section,

a reservoir containing the product to be applied, having a wiper member defining a wiper orifice traversed by the brush when it is removed from the reservoir, the diameter of the wiper orifice being between 2.5 and 5.5 mm.

17. The device of claim 16, the brush comprising a core having a straight longitudinal axis.

18. The device according to claim 16, the wiper member having an entry diameter which is less than or equal to the largest transverse dimension of the brush.

19. The device according to claim 16, the diameter of the wiper orifice being between 2.5 and 4.5 mm.

20. The device according to claim 16, the width of the brush being at least 3 mm greater than its thickness.

21. The device of claim 16, the thickness of the brush being between 2.5 and 6.5 mm.

22. The device according to claim 16, the difference between the width of the brush and its thickness being equal, within a 30% margin, to the diameter of the wiper orifice.

23. The device according to claim 16, the brush having two principal opposing faces for which the difference between them defines the thickness of the brush.

24. The device of claim 23, said faces being flat and parallel.

25. The device according to claim 16, the stem comprising an elastically deformable distal portion.

26. The device according to claim 16, the brush having a twisted core.

27. The device according to claim 16, the wiper orifice being circular.

28. The device according to claim 16, the values for the width, thickness and diameter of the wiper orifice being those contained in the following table:

29. The device according to claim 16, the lateral faces of the brush being convex toward the exterior cross section.

30. The device according to claim 28, the ratio L/l being between 1.3 and 5.
