- forming a plurality of display elements configured to output light, each of the plurality of display elements including a reflective surface configured to be positioned at distance from a partially reflective surface, wherein each of the plurality of display elements is formed having the respective distances selected so that white light produced by the plurality display element is characterized by a standardized white point.
