MOBILE TERMINAL AND CONTROLLING METHOD THEREOF
First Claim
1. A mobile terminal comprising:
- a user input unit configured to input information into the mobile terminal;
a display unit configured to display data;
a Wi-Fi module configured to provide an Access Point (AP) function such that an external terminal can access a wireless network through the Wi-Fi module providing the AP function; and
a controller configured to control a state of the Wi-Fi module to be switched between
1) a power saving mode in which the Wi-Fi module is alternated between a sleep state and an awake state and
2) a power saving off mode in which the Wi-Fi module is continuously maintained in the awake state until a Wi-Fi connection request signal is received from the external device or a predetermined amount of time passes from a specific timing point.
